Monorail in Epcot question

I have a dumb question. When in Epcot, we always see the monorail that goes through the park, up beside Spaceship Earth. My kids have always wanted to ride that one (okay...I want too) and I can't figure out where it comes from or where it goes. Someone help me! We've only ever used the monorail to get from the resorts to MK. So is the one that goes between MK and Epcot?

It runs between Epcot and the TTC. The TTC has all three monorail lines running to it. It is, effectively, the central hub for the monorails.

No, the Epcot monorail goes from Epcot to TTC. You could then transfer at TTC to the MK monorail to go to the MK.

Last year we rode monorail from Epcot to the TTC and back once when we forgot to get off for the MK. It is a nice long ride.

It is my favorite ride & it was my husbands favorite ride when I took this picture since I had all 3 kids & he had the front cabin all to himself. He was in heaven & so was I!

So is there a non-stop monorail from Epcot to MK?

No, there are three monorail loops. 2 do the MK/resorts loop. 1 goes to Epcot. They all go through the Ticket Transportation Center. (You would have to get off your MK monorail and go over to the Epcot monorail platform. "Transferring trains", if you will. :)
