Monorail hours?

What hours do the monorails run? DD has a BBB appt at 8:15 in MK and the park opens at 9:00. Does anyone know what time the monorail starts operating? Thanks!

The resort monorail opens at either 7am or 7:30am. The express monorail opens at 8:30 I believe. Take the resort monorail to the MK, it's nice to get a look at the Poly and Grand Floridian.

Thanks! We're staying at GF so the monorail is our best method of transportation there!

The Resort Monorail starts operating at 7:00 AM and since your staying at the Grand Floridian after getting on the Resort Monorail the Magic Kingdom will be the next stop, so you won't have a long wait getting there.

op - there are also character buses that leave the resorts early for those with early reservations - BBB might qualify as an early reservation - you could ask when you check in

Wow! I've never heard of character busses. Does this mean she may get to ride with characters to the park? Tell me more!

i believe so - we never took them because we had our car but apparently the start an hour before the park opens plus the park that opens early - those buses start an hour before that too so if MK is open at 8 for resort guests the buses start at 7

i don't know if they stil ldo this but it's worth checking

There are buses that start running about 6:30ish to get guests to those early morning ADRs. BUT...they are not character buses. If you use these buses, you will not be riding with any characters.

oh - thats what they must have meant. i kept hearing character breakfast bus - must have been early adr bus
