Hi. I have read that the resort monorail will be down several hours daily during our stay. One night we have reservations at Ohana at 5. We would normally just hop on the monorail. I'm guessing we have to take a bus over?

You can still take the boat over.. The boat heads to the GF first, and then to the Polynesian. The dock is on the left just before the monorail ramp.

It's closed from 11 am to 6 pm they are supposed to have more buses and boats running.

2 "standard" options:

1. Boat to Poly (via the GF).
2. Take the Express monorail to the TTC, and then walk to the Poly.

3 other possible options:

1. Take bus to Poly-assuming they are adding some
2. Take boat directly to Poly-if they add it.
3. Resort monorail is running-not 100% sure it wil be down the entire time. Possible for it to be temporarily operational.

Oh thanks ! Had not even thought of the boat!

Absolutely the right way. Nice trip across the lagoon with a short stop at GF. Look for the gold flagged boat but also good signage. It's usually on the right when exiting. I would also expect they are putting on a larger boat during the disruption. Can anyone confirm that?

One more option: Take the ferry boat from MK to the TTC and walk over to the Poly.
