Monorail from MK to GF for dinner?

Can you take the monorail from the MK directly to GF or do you have to ride a big huge loop (I'm not familiar with its routes at all!!!)? We haven't used it much at all on our trips and I am planning the Cinderalla dinner at the GF and am hoping we could spend the day at the MK and hop on the monorail and zip over? Is this do-able?

Make sure you get on the RESORT monorail at MK.

It stops at CR, TTC, Polynesian, GF and then back to MK.

It could take 20-30 minutes to get to GF.

If you are staying on site and took the bus, after the meal you can get on the monorail and get off at MK to catch your bus. Or if you drove, you can take the monorail to the TTC and the tram to your car.

You could also take a boat. They have a resort launch that goes directly to the GF. That would probably be faster than the monorail. When you're done, you can take the monorail back to the MK.

The resort launch (boat) is much quicker than the monorail. The first stop is the GF and then on to the Poly. It is a very pleasant ride providing it's not raining! Make sure you get on the smaller boat and not the larger boat that goes to FW. The dock is directly in front of MK nearest the entrance to the monorail (if you are facing the water, it is to your right, not directly in front of you).
