Monorail from MK to Contemporary

I need to start making PS arrangements soon and would like to do Chef Mickey's the day we are at MK. How long does it take to get from MK to the Contemporary using the Monorail? Also, has anyone been to CMs and what is the likelyhood that DD10's favorite, Minnie, will be there.

The actual time of the monorail trip is very short as the Contemporary is the first stop....maybe 2 minutes? But you may have to wait for a monorail to come along and sometimes they sit and wait awhile to board and to wait for "clearance." Be sure to take the resort monorail not the express. You can also walk in 10 minutes or so. Either way I'd allow 15-20 minutes total.

We have been 4 times in the last 4 years and Minnie along with Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale are always there.
