Monorail from Epcot to MK question

We are not staying onsite. When we go to Epcot and park in the lot there..if we decide to go to MK and take the monorail..can we take the monorail back to Epcot to get our car? Hope that makes sense..lol..and yes we have park hopper tickets.

Yes. You don't need to stay on site or even have park tickets to ride the monorails.
 
I think the monorail between Epcot and the TTC closes 1 hour after regular hours. I cannot remember for sure, so someone should correct me if I am wrong. So, if there are extended hours, you might not be able to stay for those and still get back to your vehicle by using the monorail.
 
yep. the epcot to TTC closes 1 hour after the latest closing time including extra hours.
 

The Epcot beam closes 1 hour after Epcot's regular close, so you will not be able to get back to your car on an MK late night.
 
You might be best to park at the TTC and take the monorail to Epcot and then take it to MK. When you leave MK your car will already be there with no worries about the monorail not running when you leave.
