They reported that the EPCOT monorail line was struck by lightning. They have a cherry picker evacuating guests.

I was actually in line for TOT at DCA when this happened. Maybe it's a sign?

I think something else was going on. Because they normally for a stuck monorail they bring out the diesel tug and tow/push it into a station.

They REALLY don't like to evac people from the rail.

I think it would be an amazing experience provided no one was injured by the lightening. I would love to get evacuated through the roof hatch of the monorail.

They REALLY don't like to evac people from the rail.

That may have been a logistical problem depending on where the tug is and how busy the MK loops are. Who knows, though.

Reports are that it was a possible lightning strike as guests say that monorail immediately stopped after lightning.
