Monorail EPCOT loop

Let me start with a disclaimer.....I feel that this may be one of the more stupid questions I've ever asked on the DIS but since I don't know the answer, I'll ask anyway.

We have only ever ridden the EPCOT monorail once in all our trips to WDW and that was leaving the park one night. We always enjoy seeing it go through EPCOT and I was just thinking that I'd like to see EPCOT from the monorail.

So, here's my stupid question. If the monorail goes from the TTC to EPCOT and back, what do we have to do in order to be ON the monorail when it makes the loop through EPCOT? Do we need to stay on for a full loop from TTC to EP and back? Or can we simply get on the monorail when it's obviously heading that direction. Honestly, with only one EPCOT monorail trip to draw from, I can't recall at all how it's laid out. I'm sure this is much simpler than I'm making it out to be, but I know the one time we rode the monorail out of EPCOT, we did not go through the park. Rather than waste a bunch of time, I figured I'd just ask (and hopefully not be branded a monorail moron - now watch, after five years on the DIS, the Tag Fairy will show up and put that tag on me!).

The monorail going TO Epcot makes the loop through future world. You would get on the monoral at the TTC and take it to Epcot. You can then get off at Epcot or stay on it and return to the TTC.

Yup, He's right! I like riding through EPCOT from the TTC. It gives you a heads up to what the crowds are like when you get off the monorail and enter future world!

Make sure you do it twice. Very different views of FW from each side of the monorail car. It's one of our favorite Disney "rides".
