Monorail Drink-A-Thon

Bill & JJ, the Rose & Crown are one of my DH's and my favorites... it's a designated stop on all our visits to Epcot... I am partial to Boddington's, hubby likes Tennents. Stella Artois is pretty good too.... and their fish and chips! yummy...

Here we are in front of R&C... I'm drinking a Boddington's and DH is drinking Stella Artois.

DisneyaHolic23 - The parade actually goes by the Dawa bar twice. You'll see why when you look at the parade route. So after it went by the first time most of the crowd left and we had a great view when it came back.

Thank you all for your comments for my son. I pasted them into an email, so that he could see what people had said. It will make him feel good. Right now he is in Fallujah, so needless to say, I am very concerned!

On another note: I plan to be at the Dawa Bar at 3:00 on January 2nd to watch the parade (twice!) if anyone would like to join my husband and I. If anyone is planning to come by, we will have to work out a signal, or secret handshake, or at the very least, a complicated toast!

ironically I use to live in Orlando for two years...I studied at UCF...and out of those two years I went to Disney World zero times.

though I did work as a scareactor at the Halloween Horror nights...that was sorta fun.

guys, if anyone makes it to the food and wine...and you're in the peru area check out 'Cristal' its my second favorite peruvian beer but its gooooooooooood.

Disneyholic-OMG...I will definitely think of your son and keep him in my thoughts. I can only imagine the stress you must feel., having him there. Please let your son know I am not saying this absent mindedly...I REALLY REALLY appreciate him and the troops. That is true bravery. God bless him and you!!!! Will he be home anytime soon?

Disneyaholic- Please tell your son how much we truely appreciate the sacrifice he is making for us. 9/11 hit us hard here ( I live about 20 min outside NYC) and the idea that someone would be as unselfish as your son to risk his life for us makes me remember that there is still good in this world.

I will also add to mention to your son our Thanks & respect to him & his whole unit. Just as WLL said it is not an passing thought, everyday I see the news I stop and say a silent prayer for all of those brave men & women who selflessly give for our freedoms.

I pray they all come home safely and soon.

I have not read thru this entire thread..(making me too thirsty ) but you guys are MY KIND OF PEOPLE!!!!! Since my friends and I were known as the "Lush-ettes" a few years back, I am going to have to beg on bended knees to allow me to jump on the bandwagon...or monorail ....and join y'all! DH will actually read this thread...doing the monorail drink-a-thon is something he has asked to PLEASE do on our Dec trip.....I think I can accomodate. I have Disney Dollars for his stocking so he can just pay his way w/those....he really needs this trip.
