Monorail Crawl suggestions…

That glass is so cute! I am strictly a Lapu Lapu gal usually because I cannot pass up the novelty of drinking out of a pineapple so I don't think I realized Tambu had such cool drinkware.
YES, every time I look at that picture I'm kicking myself that I don't have 6 of those glasses in my cupboard.

I've been hooked on their Mai Tai's ever since the Luau used to offer unlimited Mai Tai's.

If you're at the Poly waiting for your Trader Sam's text to come through, the pool bar at the main volcano pool has a service window outside of the gated-off area and serves drinking using the different flavors of dole whip. I recommend trying one or two, especially on a hot day.

I did a mini monorail crawl on Sunday April 23rd. We went directly to Trader Sams at 3pm and put our name down. We then took the monorail to GF and sat at Enchanted Rose for a drink for a while. Enchanted Rose was not busy at all, we easily got a table on the balcony for 4, but there was a whole room of empty tables we could have sat at. Did some shopping at Basin. Went back to the Polynesian and sat on Trader Sam's outdoor patio and listened to the ukelele player. I got the dumplings (NOT the same as the 'Ohana ones, unfortunately) and the Tuna Sushi Roll (delicious and bright purple! Lol) and the Ace Pineapple Cider -- delicious! We got our notification to go into Sam's right before 6pm, and our server quickly got us our bills and we headed in. Enjoyed indoors at Sam's for an hour then got drinks at the Poly pool bar and grabbed 4 adirondack chairs on the beach and sipped while waiting for fireworks. We watched the electric water pageant and listened to relaxing music - lovely! The beach FILLS IN, so best to get there early if you want chairs. Fireworks music is pipped in. Afterwards, we could have EASILY gotten a seat at Tambu Lounge, but we hurried over to the BoardWalk after that to do Jellyrolls because we were doing everything in one evening lol.

Highly recommend all of the above!! Except Sam's dumplings, just go to Tambu and get the real deal. Lol.
Also, in general it's less crowded on a weekday. Beware of Fridays-Sundays ha!
This is a great idea- get in the queue for TS first thing then head to the GF and ER.

Then back to Poly for TS/Tambu Lounge, then lastly to CR and either a lounge or S71.

That way we can catch the EWP at the end.
It looks like the EWP route is GF>Poly>WL>FW>CR, is this right?

So you can leave the Poly while waiting for a callback from TS?

So you can leave the Poly while waiting for a callback from TS?
We did.
We were told 3.5-4 hour wait so we went to the Enchanted Rose at GF.
After walking around at the GF and drinks at ER we went back to the Poly and went to Tambu Lounge for a while then walked around a bit before being texted we could enter TS (about 3.5 hours after putting our name on the callback list).
It was SO FUN!

Yes. I've gotten a callback while in my room at POR...unsurprisingly didn't make the 15 minute return window. Lol. As long as you stay close by toward the end of your waiting window (which they'll tell you when you put your name on the list) you'll be good.

awesome thanks! We went a year or so ago, put in our name and went to Kona for dinner...got called just as we finished dinner!
