Okay,
Only 31 days left and counting :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Does anyone have any information on how one can ride in the front of the monorail. My sons birthday is the day before we go to WDW and getting to ride up front would be great for him.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. ::MickeyMo

We did this when we were there a few weeks ago and it was great! Just approach a castmember standing on the paltform and let them know what you want to do. You may have to wait for a couple of trains until there is one with no one already up front.

We did this on our last trip and our DD who was 3 at the time loved it. We had just missed the last monorail and I figured I would ask the cast member if we could sit up front on the next one. We were able to and she loved it. They gave even gave her a co-pilot card which she still proudly carries in her backpack today.

When I went with my family...many moons ago... the one thing I remember about the monorail and wanting to sit in the front is to touch your nose, because they call the front of the monorail the nose. Very appropriate. The kids love to do it and just make sure one of the castmembers see you...you may even see a cast member do it themselves to see if it's available. We are going in May with our DS 41/2 and DD 2 and we've preped them already for that. Have a great time

We ride in the front several times while we are at disney. You might have to wait for another monorail. If others are already waiting there turn Just ask the cm politely if you can wait.
The best times to ask is during the day or evening, not during park opening or closing times. We rode up front from TTC to epcot during illuminations the driver slowed down for all to watch & we had front row seats :). It's also nice to ride in front going over to the contemporary.

How many people are allowed to ride in the "nose"? I'm sure there is a limit and was wondering what that limit is. Thanks, Jodie :earsgirl:

The limit is 4

We did it recently. A mom and her DD were waiting to ride and asked if we wanted to ride up front with them since there was only the two of us. Great fun!

We always ride up front a few times while we're at Disney. The boys love it. Also, if you have a friendly 'driver' we take a picture with him/her. If they don't offer you the co-pilot card, go ahead and ask for it. It's great in the scrapbook. :)
