Money saving souvenirs

Has anyone bought souvenirs like autograph books, penny books, disney lanyards, or other stuff any where else like esty or eBay to save money.

If I buy Mickey ear hats at Disney how much are they? How much to get name stitched in them? And has anyone seen nemo themed ones

I often buy things on sale at the Disney Store online. You can often find sale items that would be full price if you purchased in the parks. I have stocked up on Vinylmations, so I have plenty new ones stored up for trading, and I paid around $3-4 per Vinylmation, rather than full price.

I've purchased plush toys, toy sets, bags, home décor, clothes, etc. I love to bargain shop, so I check the sales and use my Disney Visa 10% off for over $50, and usually spend enough to get free shipping too.

I've ordered items off eBay too.

I like the Disney themed lanyards I have bought at Home Depot. When we did autograph books for the kids, I got thin photo albums and used cardstock for the characters to sign and when we printed the photo of the kids with that character, we slipped them into facing pages of the autograph books.
This last time, we had canvas pillowcovers for the characters to sign and I bought a Mickey apron and had the characters sign that. My favorite souvenier to date. I use it all the time!

I like Character Warehouse for discounted park merchandize as well as the Disney Store. Target and Walmart also have Disney things. In Orlando Walmart has a Disney section. I used to get Disney PJ's on sale for the kids before our trips to give them the first night. Last week I picked up a shower curtain at Character Warehouse in Orlando for half of what its selling for in the parks. If you will have a car in Orlando and time to hit the outlet mall, I'd shop there for souvenirs. In December I scored an Italian leather purse marked from $160 to $36. I could go on, but that outlet has consistently been the best.
