Money Management

We do a combination of cash (a small amount) and traveler's checks. On our last trip, I did envelopes for the big meals we had planned and spending $$ envelopes for each day. We only carried the envelopes for that particular day with us and left the rest in the in room safe. This prevented us from over spending with the cc or room charge. And if a day's worth of money was lost or stolen it would be as bad as having all the money for our entire trip be gone.
