Not sure if this belongs on this board but wasn't sure where to post it.

How much cash do you think is needed in the parks per day? It's just DH and I. We are staying at POR and plan to charge almost everything but I know that someplaces only take cash.

I'm expecting big crowds so don't want to have to stop at the ATM.

Thanks,

Pam

If you plan on charging things to the room, the only cash you'll really need is for any kind of snack that you want sold at a cart. As far as I know, all places that sell merchandise will take a card.

So, it's really a personal thing. If I were in your shoes, I'd take $30/day. That's enough for a snack or two, and LOTS of beverages.

Great Thanks!

I don't like carring cash but also don't want to stand in a line if I run out. I might bump it up to $50 a day just in case.

Oh Boy I need to get packing!

Some friends of mine yesterday gave me 60 Disney Dollars to start with, as a Christmas present and an early birthday present (where I spend my 50th at The World).

Keep a running tally on how much you have spent when you charge food and merchandise to your room. I thought of using traveler's checks, too.
