Mondays at MGM

We are going to Disney the first week of June. I had planned to make MGM our first stop on Monday, but I noticed that on Mondays they have extra morning hours and we are not staying on site so we won't get in early. I had read in some posts to avoid parks when they have extra hours because the crowds will be bigger. Do you think this will be a factor this time of year? I would like to sidestep the extra busy times if possible. Thanks for all your wonderful experience.

yes, I really would avoid the park with EMH. I think it does get more crowded...and you'll need all the help you can avoiding crowds in June.

As long as you realize June is a busy time of year, and plan your days accordingly, and have realistic expectations, you'll be fine.

We went to Disneyland at Christmas a few years ago...so I figure the crowds can't be worse than that.... but I will sure listen to all of your words of wisdom for this trip. Can't change the dates 6/5-6/12. I had heard most US schools and the European schools don't get out till the 2nd week in June. I know Florida is like us and gets out early, so I'm hoping that helps a bit.

Yes, definately avoid the EMH parks. Add 60 degrees to your Disneyland Christmas trip and welcome to the MK in June.

We live in Arizona so the heat won't be so bad, but the humidity is going to kill us!
