Monday Sept 26th MK no availability?

I have a park reservation for HS then a dining ressie for Plaza 20.40, planning to hop over to MK sometime after 2pm.
I do check park availability every now and then and MK is now not available.
Its no biggie if I can’t get in, but I don’t know if I should just cancel my ADR or take my chances.
I know in Ts and Cs it advises ADRs to be made in the park you have reserved so I guess I would still be charged if I can’t get it.
As this is a Monday too, I am a little surprised unless there is something I am not aware of or if it’s related to it not being a MNSSHP night

I’m going that week and my theory is because it’s one of the few nights that week that doesn’t have a party. There is a DVC event on Wednesday in the AK so any members trying to see the 50th fireworks that week are left with Monday as the only option. Just my two cents.

Pent up demand is still crazy!!! Our kids have a week off the third week of September and its always been our "quiet week" to Disney. Not this year it seems.

Yes, my dates have ranged from last week August through to last 2 weeks September, never encountered crowds only Hurricane Jeanne 2004!
Will just go with the flow!

Oh no, did you already cancel? Yes, Disney says that they can close a park to hopping, but that has happened only once, at MK for a few hours on the afternoon of October 1, the actual 50th Anniversary. None of the parks closed to hopping over the Christmas/New Year's holidays, the busiest days of the year. So the chances of your being shut out of MK on Sept. 26 are probably nil, and if you haven't canceled your ADR yet, I'd hold on to it.
