We are heading out tomorrow for FL....I know this question has been asked in every way, shape, and form....and I do apologize for that :)

We are staying in a condo offsite next week. I am planning one day to go to the Magic Kingdom...is there going to be much difference, crowd-wise, between Monday and Wednesday? Neither has EMH or Spectromagic, and the hours are the same.

Any thoughts? I'd really appreciate it!!

Traditionally Monday is the busiest day at the MK. Dont ask me why you would think it would be Saturday. Right now things are slow dont think you will see too much of a difference in crowds on either day.

One reason that I've heard that Monday is busy at MK is because a lot of people travel over the weekend and Monday is their first day in the parks. Most people like to start in the MK, so it's more crowded that day.

That's the case for us. We'll get in Sun. afternoon and go to MK first thing Mon. morning. We'll only be there for a few hours though. We are also planning to be in MK on Wed. afternoon/evening. I usually split my days between two parks like that.

Maybe we'll see you there!!

I guess I'll watch and see what others advise....I was hopeful that crowds are still a little low, that sounds like it might be true. That said, it's the beginning of Fall Break season....and the week before Columbus Day.

We'll likely hop to Epcot to see Off Kilter at some point in the day, no matter what....

thanks for the adivce!

I went to MK on a Wednesday during spring break and it wasn't bad. I've never been on a Monday due to what a previous poster said about historical crowds on a Monday.

we ended up going on Monday (october 4) and found it to be quite uncrowded....there was a few other families in the castle at 9AM, and that's it. We left and came back for Wishes....had to wait 10 minutes for Buzz and walked on a few other things. We were pleased.

We just returned after a short (2-day) stop over. We met up with friends who took a week vacation. The parks are all slow right now. That may change over Columbus Day weekend, but MK was very slow on Sat (10/2), MGM was slow on Sun (10/3) and Epcot was slow on Mon (10/4). This was probably the slowest I've seen it with the exception of the week after New Year's one year. The exception to this was MNSSHP on 10/3 - that was a zoo- very crowded and not as pleasant as last year for many reasons. We were disappointed with MNSSHP this year and will probably not do it again.

Don't forget that Monday is Columbus day and many locals will have off from school and work...

We'll be there next week also. With Monday being the holiday, I would choose Wednesday if those were my choices.

Neither has EMH or Spectromagic, and the hours are the same.

Monday Spectromagic is at 9:00 with fireworks at 10:00.

t-roy...when I posted this question, it was for this week. there was no Spectro on Monday night when we were there.

I'm going to Epcot and MGM tomorrow. Hopefully it will be as pleasant as Monday was!

We're going Sun-Wed next week (10/10-10/13), with MNSSHP on 10/12. With the holiday weekend, it may be a little more crowded than usual, but, overall, shouldn't be that bad. Crowds seem lower this year than normal, at least when we've been there.
