i am so done with the bus topics everyone on this site is brain washed .
why wouldnt you want them to make the bus service better?
you are all right the buses are great and l love to spend xtra money for a rent a car , even though the bus service is figured in to the price of your room.

Just my 2 cents but I think the WDW buses stink no matter where you are staying. A lot of it depends on luck anyway. You may show up 5 seconds after a bus leaves or show up 5 seconds before a bus arrives. We never go without either renting a car or using our own if we drive. If you know your way around WDW, nothing beats having your own vehicle. And nothing is worse than having to cram into a fully loaded bus at a busy time. It's still a great "free" service that Disney provides...just doesn't compare to having your own transportation.

No one is brain-washed. We just understand that it is what it is. Bus service. There is no set schedule. You may have to wait 20 minutes for a bus to come. You may have to stand. If you don't want to wait, or don't want the hassle, you are free to rent a car. No one is forcing you to choose either one.

Plus, I get that they figure the cost of the bus service in to the price of the room. But in order to have more busses they would have to charge more for their rooms too. And then people would complain about the cost of the resorts.

If you know and understand what it is, it is still a great deal. And if you don't like it, or don't find it convenient, you are free to rent a car. And that car can take you many places the busses can't. Either choice is a good choice.

I'm not against having more busses or more hubs...but, like I said, I don't take the bus so I don't really care either way.

Dude, you might be getting a little more worked up over the bus than you should. I took the bus for a couple years. It sucked, but I lived with it. I couldn't afford a car, so that's what I did.

Either live with the bus or suck it up and rent a car, KWIM?

Hey,

I don't believe that bus service at a value is faster than the monorail resorts as a rule. And even if it were, I'd rather wait twice as long and stay at the POLY than half as long and stay value--I enjoy deluxe amenities way too much to give them up.

Moreover, what's the problem with waiting a bit for the bus in the first place? After all you're on vacation--remember? Relaxation can be found anywhere--yes, even waiting in the bus line--if you have the right attitide. However, if waiting for the bus is a miserable experience just rent a car--simple.

Of course people want the bus service better but are we going to get all worked up about the bus service and ruin our vacation and the vacation for those with us. No. Of course the price is figured into the cost of the room - nothing is free. I don't think anyone is brainwashed. People on this disboard are already aware I just don't think people let it bother them. Sure lets add some more buses - thats not going to help because Disney will only add them when its cost effective for them - during the busy times. Lets see room prices go up across the board even during value time when extra buses aren't needed. Doesn't make sense.

If someone can't relax on vacation due to the bus service then rent a car or take a taxi but don't ruin it for everybody around you.
