Mona rail

It's a great way to kill some time and get some magic without entering a park. Great for an afternoon after you arrive. Do the resort one and then the EPCOT one.

You can ride any monorail for free. You can even ride up front with the operator. Just ask a CM when you get there and they will direct you to a seperate line. You may have to wait for one and you can only have a total of 4 guests in the cab.

Any park guest may use the monorail, to enter another park, yesy you will need a park hopper. If you just want to tool around on the monorail have at it any park guest may use the Disney transportation.

monorail

Main Entry: mono·rail
Pronunciation: 'mä-n&-"rAl
Function: noun
: a single rail serving as a track for a wheeled vehicle ; also : a vehicle traveling on such a track

Sorry for the typo (did not mean to spell momorail instead of monorail), just not being careful

Technically, any guest that has park passes is entitled to any of the WDW transportation. I have never been asked to show any park passes before, but I guess they can ask at some point.
Just about the only monorail line you may not be able to access would be the resort line at MK. If it's early in the morning, it will stop only at the resorts. Or, if the parks get super crowded, they may ask to see resort ID in order to use that particular line. But that would be the only exception and that doesn't happen very often.

Ah, just a small mistake...I did the same a few years back...and have never lived it down. My kids constantly razz me about it...Mom and her MOMOrail.

thats right. whenever i have one with my family we have never shown anything. but it may be differnt now. so its best to ahve park hopper handy just in case u r asked.

Last year we were asked to show our passes after passing through the TTC. They were checking passes and some ID's to verify signatures on back of adult tickets.

anyone know how long monorail runs for extra magic hours for magic kingdom and epcot???

I believe it's an hour before and an hour after park opens/closes. But, it could be a bit longer for the closings.
