Today was all about me!!! This is the only day I spent alone. My husband and daughter and the others spent the day at Blizzard Beach. It looked like rain to me, and I would rather spend the day shopping at stores that cant be found in St. Louis. What David (my husband) didnt know was I worked like a dog to clear a credit card, just to blow!!!! David and Jamilah rode with the Hobbs - off they went, and off I went. I went to the outlet mall right off of I-4 the one that screams, come to me momma!!! I bought Sandals at Barneys of New York, a Burberry photo wallet and key chains for myself my Sisters. I bought 3 pair of DKNY sunglasses (which I plan to sell on Ebay) and at Fendi I bought my little sister (that just graduated college) a Fendi wristlet (which I didnt know they made). I went to Giorgio Armani and was a little angry that I couldnt find anything that I liked (in my price range). In Jones New York I bought a killer business suit. I plan to start looking for a new job and I think I need one!!! It was at an exceptionally low price (comparable to my local TJ Max). At Nike I bought David a pair of tennis. Tommy Hilfiger had some really good sales. Im talking $3 shirts for my daughter and $8 for pants. The store I thought I would loose my mind in was Versace. There was so much I wanted to buy, but since I am married and want to stay that way (today) I use discretion and bought a scarf that I will probably never wear (but it would make a great gift). Polo Ralph Lauren needs to be ashamed. That was the worst excuse of outlet prices Ive ever seen. I was looking forward to that store for my daughter. I was hoping to find the little long sleeve navy polo dress so she could wear them for her uniform. Of course every color, but navy was found!!! I didnt go to Dooneys store because I spent so much at Coach. Disners, I have a small obsession with Hobo style purses and since that is in - its hard to resist. For those that are coach fans registry on their online site or visit one of their stores and put yourself on their mailing list. Coach sends wonderful coupons. Yes I took a coupon to the coach store. The coupon discount is based on how much you spend and you can get up to 50% off your total price of purchase. Lets say my discount was 40% and leave it at that. It started to rain around 2, so I jumped in the car and headed to the Post Office. Yes I said the Post Office. You see, Husband is not aware that Im spending a portion of our daughters college fund (not really her college fund, but I did tap into our saving just a little). Ill put it back, some of this stuff is going on ebay.
I went to the Post Office off Sand lake and mailed every thing except Davids shoes and other small items. The packages were shipped Priority to my mothers house. I called her to give her heads up. We do this often. I made it back to the house to find it empty and locked, so I called David and found they were headed this way, so I waited, and waited, for like hours (okay maybe 15 minutes). I showed everyone my trinkets and kind of chilled out for the rest of the day. Today was a good day.
