Hi Joanne!! nice to see you again! Hope this IS the day :goodvibes

SO SO SO SO happy to see you here! I'm so glad that the DE cycle was successful and you are now on to the next step of your journey! :goodvibes
I hope your pregnancy has been going well and you're feeling good!

Hi Ladies! Never in a million years did I think I'd be back on this thread!!

For those of you that don't know me, we have an 8yo DS. Then it took us four loooong years to conceive DS #2. We tried all kinds of fertility meds, treatments, procedures, doctors, etc., none of which worked. Then we decided to take a break and 6 months later found out DS#2 was on the way. He'll be a year old on January 28th.

And....I just found out I'm pregnant again. O.M.G. :scared1: Needless to say it was a shock! I still can't believe it took us 4 years for DS#2 and now, before DS#2 is even a year old, we find out I'm pregnant with #3 and we weren't even trying!

DH says we have to stop going to WDW. With DS#2, we went to WDW and when we came back found out I was pregnant. We just got back from WDW on December 23rd and I took a test on the 26th and got a BFP.

It's still super early (I'll be 6w on Saturday) so we haven't told anyone IRL, but I had to have somewhere to talk about it so decided to come on here! :goodvibes

SOOOOOOOOOOO excited to hear your wonderful news!! I lurk on the TTC thread and followed your story there. I have been there, and have come to the other side with my amazing boy/girl twins who are now freshman in college!! Love to read success stories!!

All the best to you!!

OMG I just noticed your siggie! I am pregnant by the miracle of donor embryo! In our state embryos cannot be destroyed, so my clinic has a program where couples can donate their embryos, and DH and I are one of the blessed and lucky recipients. It's so awesome that you adopted an embryo too! Did you use snowflakes or miracles waiting?

So incredibly happy to read this miracle Enjoy every minute!!!!

Today we hit 100 more days until our baby boy!!!

After so much disappointment in the past I'm still scared and waiting for the other shoe to drop. Any advice I you turn the corner and allow the joy to come in?

Maria

Thank you all so much! We're adjusting to life with a newborn, a.k.a. sleep deprivation LOL. She's so precious we just can't help but stare at her all day long.

Wishing those of you in the home stretch easy days until the big day!

And welcome to Cheri! I know you've waited so long to be here, and I'm so excited for you!!!

:faint: I'm finally joining!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm finally convinced that we are actually going to have this baby in our arms come August!!!! (or end of July)

Can't believe I am actually here. :cloud9:

YAY Cheri!! :goodvibes

Maria, I managed to calm down a bit and enjoy after I was able to feel the baby move consistently. That eased my mind. Just try your best to focus on the positive. The odds now are definitely in your favor!

Newborns are tough, but it doesn't last long. :) Enjoy every minute because before you know it they are a year old!

Still pregnant.... sigh...
I wake up every morning and tell myself today is going to be THE day. So let's hope that it is today! :goodvibes

Surely you've had that baby by now!!

Aw, thanks so much!! It's still a bit surreal!

Today my baby Liam turned ONE!! I can't believe it! It was SO hard not to tell anyone about baby #3. Only my best friend and her husband know. I haven't even told my parents yet. I go back to the doctor in two weeks. I'll be 11w along then so if everything is okay, we'll make the announcement. :)

Wow! This is the first time I have encountered anyone else who has been through this process! So exciting! We didn't go through the formal adoption type process but used a clinic too. I called clinics all over the state before I found one that did it, and they had several sets of embryos available. It ended up being a very simple process and our first attempt worked! Our baby boy will be here 2 weeks from tomorrow!

We had our 37 week check on Friday, and baby Jude is stubbornly refusing to turn around from his breech position. We went ahead and scheduled my c-section for Feb 13! While I hope he turns by then, I just don't think he will. As much as I hate the idea of a c-section, I am getting super excited to meet him and love having a date! 2 more weeks!

Considering there are only about 10 hours left today, I think it's safe to say that my baby will NOT be born on his due date! I had my 40 week appointment today. I am 2cm dilated now, which is good! I had an NST and an u/s to check amniotic fluid levels and everything looked fine. They won't induce me until I'm one week overdue (next Monday). I will go in on Thursday and meet with the Dr that is delivering Monday and she will check my progress to determine if she wants me to come in Sunday night to start Cervidil or if I can just come in Monday morning to start Pitocin. Of course, baby can still decide to come on his own any time between now and then!
I've been on my maternity leave for one week and I'm starting to get bored waiting for this baby! I'm renting lots of movies and trying to go to the store everyday just to walk up and down the aisles. It's supposed to be in the 50s this week (which is a total heat wave for Chicago in winter!) so I might be able to actually go outside and walk some which would be nice.
Think labor thoughts for me everyone! :goodvibes

It's quite a "small world" isn't it? ;)

I'm so excited for you! Our first attempt worked also! Apparently it was just my crappy eggs all along.

I hope he turns but as long as he enters this world safely and healthy, as well as you staying healthy, then that's the main thing. I am with you though, I have said over and over that I really hope to not have a c-section. I think I remember reading something about chiropractors being able to encourage a breech baby to turn? (but only ones trained in adjusting pregnant women)

Skuttle...I see the quotes but I can't find your original post about it...

Just wanted to say...OMG congrats!!!! Hope everything continues to go well! So how many August due dates do we have here? (I'm due August 3)

I don't think I included you or Skuttle in saying THANKS for the welcome here! :goodvibes

This Friday I'll be officially in the 2nd trimester (14 weeks) and I am sooo thrilled! My lower abdomen is not bigger yet but starting to feel firm now...I love it!

Valentine's Day baby.....

I'm May 7th (or shall I say our surrogate) 98 days but who's counting?

Hi Everyone! I haven't posted in awhile but I'm so happy to see all these new faces!

Last week I was put on bedrest at 31 weeks. My blood pressure is too high but I have no other signs of preeclampsia so that is a VERY good thing. Baby girl is looking great, we had an ultrasound yesterday and she is measuring 4lbs. I have to go to labor and delivery twice a week to be monitored but everything is going as well as it can be. Last week was terrifying waiting for all the test results to come back but so far their only concern is my high blood pressure. I will do anything I can to keep this baby in for as long as possible, it was a long three year journey to become pregnant and I'm not taking any risks. I just wish daytime TV was a little more entertaining.

I had pregnancy-induced hypertension as well. Just to offer you some encouragement, I never developed pre-eclampsia. I just had extra monitoring like you and the baby looked just fine the whole time. She's here and healthy as can be now. :) Take it easy just like they suggest, and perhaps it's a good time to sign up for Netflix. ;)

I had full blown preeclampsia starting at around 28 weeks with my daughter. I was put on bed rest with lots and lots of monitoring (3 NSTs a week, twice weekly ultrasounds) for baby and myself. I was induced at 36 weeks and 6 days and my sweet little girl arrived at 37 weeks and 1 day..... She was born perfect and is a perfect almost 20 month old now!
Just listen to your doctors, rest and do whatever testing they want you to. I'll keep you and your little one in my thoughts... I know how hard it is!
