moms of teenage boys or men

I have to ask (I don't want to hyjack really) When did you sons start to shave? My DS has this shadow and I'm not old enough to have a child that shaves. LOL I guess the bunny will have to byt an electric shaver in the basket.

My DS (nearly 17) just started shaving at the beginning of this school year. Not everyday... just occasionally.

DS (15) has not started shaving and there is no sign of him needing to start anytime soon! ;)

The doc originally said that Cam would probably be on the shorter side but with feet like that I sure hope not!

I have 2 male cousins that are around 7 feet tall and DH has cousins who are 6'7" and 6'9"

funny though that all the men in both of our immediate families are not tall, James is the tallest at 6 ft. My brothers are all 5'10" so was my dad. Dhs brothers are shorter than that.

Big Foot lives here too! My DS will be 12 at the end of April. He's almost to the end of his size 12EEEE shoes!!! He is tall too, about 5'9" at the moment. I really, really, really hope the feet stop by size 14 and the height stops at
6'3.
Here is a link that predicts height. Maybe they will do one for shoe size:lmao: I've been tracking my boy on this for several years. It predicts him to be 6'5" at age 18 with the possibility of growth beyond 18. Yikes:scared1:

Thanks for the answer, unfortunately I think he will have to start soon. :confused3

My 13 year old son (barely 5'3 1/2") wears a size 10. He has since he turned 13 and he is about to turn 14. Up until now it seemed his feet grew about a half size a year or so (once he got older). I think his may have finally stopped growing. He's pleased with his size 10, since he feels he's lacking in the height department. :)

my ds is 11 and wears a size 12 shoe:scared1: My dh wears a 12 so hopefully his feet will stop growing.

There was a little boy on my 8yr. old ds basketball team that as a 4th grader is 6'1" and wears a size 14 shoe:eek:

When do their feet stop growing and WHEN DO THEY STOP EATING??? :confused3

My son's feet size has matched his age since he was 10. He's now 14 1/2 and wears a 14 1/2 shoe.... :scared: HEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!

I didn't make it past this response which made chuckle.

My son will be 16 in 3 weeks. He wears a size 14 shoe (13 in Converse). He's 6'4" -- and about 170 lbs. All I hear when he walks is flap flap flap flap flap flap flap.

My DS14 is wearing a 13 now. I swear he has grown 6 inches since school began, never have I had to replace the pants and shoes so often. I hope is stops soon.

Does anybody else think that our kids are maturing(developing) much earlier than we did?

All my guys feet stopped growing at about the age of 14. My middle DS is a size 13 and I was certainly glad that he stopped there.

Not really. Looking back at when I was the same age as our twins, most of the girls I knew were much more developed then DD and the girls in her grade. DD is about a year behind where I was at age 12.

I was talking with a clerk at a shoe store last time I bought shoes and asked about the kids and the big feet wondering if they are ordering larger sizes now and she said that they are starting to carry sizes they never had before and the people with small feet are the ones that can't find shoes anymore.
