Who would’ve thought that a member of the new Reidy Creek board is allegedly , repeat, allegedly, somehow involved in a sexual battery and ménage à trois scandal. The below is an opinion piece but it’s all over the news in other outlets. The idea of a mom of liberty founder involved in a ménage à trois with another woman just makes me chuckle.

I don’t think it’s a shaming issue, but a hypocrisy issue because a person publicly appears to support and promote a certain set of values but privately they are actually supporting a different set of values. Not saying one set of values is better than the other so long as nothing criminal is going on (as you say, all consenting adults) but I feel it’s better to live your truth than to pretend to support something you truly don’t believe in. The truth generally comes out eventually (not always in a newsworthy way, but it does).

We see this again and again. The Falwell scandal comes to mind as another recent one. Hypocrisy at the highest level.

Well as the OP, I find it Disney relevant and I did stress that this is alleged. For those of us that know the background it’s really messed up seeing what really triggered the state of FL to abolish the Reedy Creek, which basically was renaming it, and putting on members who fit a certain background. And one of these members is accused of taking part in acts that are part of the bigger picture that triggered the whole Disney versus state of Florida.

Well as the OP, I find it Disney relevant and I did stress that this is alleged. For those of us that know the background it’s really messed up seeing what really triggered the state of FL to abolish the Reedy Creek, which basically was renaming it, and putting on members who fit a certain background. And one of these members is accused of taking part in acts that are part of the bigger picture that triggered the whole Disney versus state of Florida.

Since it's the CB, topics don't have to be related to Disney.

Kind of hard to deny political overtones though between M4L and the Disney/FL tie ins though.

Moms of Liberty is accomplishing a lot. These kind of smear campaigns are to be expected when one can't win on the issues. But chuckle away if it makes you happy!

He may have....I just remember that he got caught because he was spending a very long time in the bathroom stall, when the police officer who was trained to watch for this kind of behavior got into the stall next to him....he started tapping away and slid his foot over to touch the officer's foot. So that was it for him.

If you have to be taught why sexual battery is a crime....

That wouldn't even register as a story today. Remember when Howard Dean's career ended when he let out a cheer? He was seen as unhinged.
