Ever see those children books you wish they would make?

This is what my DH said to me as I poured my second glass of wine after our two rambunctious sons (3 and 4) had very bad days at school - hitting and pushing their friends and teachers!! and then being horrific at dinner.....

Made me laugh anyway!!

Jenny :rotfl2:

Oh, could I get a copy of that???? :rotfl2:

That's the sequel to "Mommy Cries Because You're Ugly".

It was a Best Seller for 87 weeks.

My 21/2 yr old dgs has a tee shirt they says "Mommy drinks because I cry." It's true. :teeth:

I must of lost my sense of humour, I am a drinker and I don't get it. I wouldn't find it funny if someone said that to my child.

:lmao: OMG ... too funny. The ugly one is funny too!

 <<< Me after a few margaritas! Ole'!

I thought the OP meant that her husband said it to her (a tongue in cheek kind of comment) I don't think anyone said it to her kids.

For example, I recently told some friends I could afford to be a stay at home mom if I didn't have kids! (we were commenting on the high cost of schools, activities, etc)

Oh my yes....DH said it to me in a whisper in the kitchen as both boys hits themselves on their head repeatedly on purpose while laughing and trying to eat their pizza......I only say those things to the boys after three drinks (totally kidding!!!!!)

I get it..........I'm on glass #2 of wine. After a day of two wild boys 5 & 2, this mommy drinks because my boys are monkeys!!!
I think I'm going to write the book "Mommy drinks wine as soon as the boys are in bed because there are always 10,000 neighborhood kids at her house all day.......all of them boys".

:rotfl2: Do you ever watch "Stewart" on Mad TV? My youngest DS and I love Stewart!! "My Mom's dead inside." "My Mom has a drinking problem....but don't tell anyone." :rotfl2:

You'll find that on the shelf beside my books "You Made Mommy Fat" and "Mommy Gave Up a Great Job to Stay Home and Clean Up Your Vomit".

One of my nephews *is* Stewart. ;)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: After the day I've had I should have downed the whole bottle by now. Instead there's considerably less chocolate in the house  .

Have another drink...you may see the humor :cool1:

My DD is 26 and DS is 22...drinking more than ever. Does that tell you anything?

:lmao:

At least I am not the only one..... :teeth:

Actually my particular vice tonight is going to be a Reese's Klondike bar instead. ;)

Becka! I can't believe how big Allison and Nathan are getting. Time flies wayyyy too fast with these kiddos (even when they are peeing across your kitchen floor) ;) !!!
