So my DW and DD (12 )are headed to WDW next week. Our Daddy Daughter tradition (well only twice) is going to Trader Sams for a few drinks before kids get booted at 8 pm. My wife is taking their first trip and wants to do something fun like that but different for them. They are staying at BWV but Jelly Rolls is 21 and up. It does not have to be at the resort. They have APs and a car. Any fun ideas to start a tradition? Thank you!

Take the Skyliner and stop at each of those resorts to have a special treat..grown up drink for your wife and a dessert for your daughter!

We have done it and it’s a lot of fun!!

Top of the World Lounge is reopening soon (may be open by now).
Check for afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.
The Nomad Lounge at Animal Kingdom is one of my favorites.
Sushi anyone? Splitsville at Disney Springs (yes really).

I second Nomad Lounge. My kids love the watermelon drink there. I like the Tempting Tigress. Food is good too, especially the lobster mac n cheese.

What about at Riviera? Don't they have a very nice bakery in the lobby where she could get something? And do they sell beverages for your wife?

Yes! They do! That is always the first stop for us on our Skyliner trip..well that is because we stay there!

Depending on their preferences and budget how about a manicure or pedicure at the Grand Floridian Spa?
