Mommy and Jack's 2nd Fall Adventure is canceled!

Can you email them to your email accout? Thats how I get my pictures...or post them to facebook (I have to email them to my facebook too) and then I can copy them to here.

I can, but I guess I tried to do too many at one time because my email froze, and hasn't worked right on my phone since.... I'm just not a patiant person :rolleyes1

In attempt to scare away the few readers I do have :lmao: I am changing my dates, yet again!!!

Actually, it's not that drastic. I was looking at the crowd calendar, and trying to fit my days in... and it just wasn't. Epcot was crowded everyday, and the day I wanted to do AK wasn't looking good, and I just wasn't thrilled. So after about an hour racking my brain trying to figure stuff out, it hit me that I hadn't even booked yet, there was no reason why I had to be wedded to those dates, except I knew it needed to be that week because of the vacation time thing... but when your trip is only 4 days, moving it one way or another isn't a huge deal. So I took another look at the calendar and...

Our *NEW* dates are 10/23-10/27 (Sunday-Thursday)
Yup, I moved it a whole 1 day. Which forced me change my ticker. But luckily I hadn't rebooked... see what I mean about waiting!

Here are my pictures for Toy Story 3 on Ice!! The quality isn't great, but it's better than nothing!

looks like a fun night! the pictures came out great...sorry I haven't been around much but I will be back. I did read about your date change
:thumbsup2 for lower crowds, if I can change things for crowd control I say go for it!

have a great day!

The Disney on Ice show looks like a lot of fun! Your son is just the cutest in his mouse ears, how adorable! :cutie:

The Cars pics are great too! What an awesome Disney weekend! :yay:

Well, I officially made a new reservation, for October 23-27. I figured we might as well book, but I booked without dining because I am thinking that if FD isn't offered, we may just go without dining... Plus this way if they DO offer it, it would be just as easy to call and add it later! (subject to availability etc) So yay! It's official!! I will call Disney on Monday and cancel the other reservation, and get my $200 back!

I too have a goal to go to Disney for 2 weeks in 2013!!! We are doing the Dream next April and after that NO MORE vactions till either Sept or Nov 2013, to which it will be a 2 week getaway. I'm so hoping the fantasyland expansion is done by then. I'm thinking I will most likely base my trip around that!

Yay for the Dream! My plan for 2013 is 2 days Deluxe (maybe even Platinum Plan so we can do some of the shows and tours for free!) then 3 days on the Dream, then 7 nights at the new Value opening next year, so we can spend some time with friends and family that will join us!

So, I'm thinking that we ALL need to go the same week in 2013 AND stay at the brand new Art of Animation resort! Wouldn't that be awesome?!? :thumbsup2

I REALLY REALLY want to stay at the new value resort after it opens! I might end up waiting a few years because it will probably be very popular the year it opens -- but who knows! I still think it would be awesome to all go the same week!

That's awesome that you have new dates & officially made the new ressie! I knew it before I read your updates because I had noticed your brand new ticker!!!

I will definitely keep you updated if I hear anything! :thumbsup2

What a fantastic idea!!! I am really looking forward to the Art of Animation as wel... I'm just torn about which section we will want to stay in!!

I am keeping my eyes and ears open for discounts. I priced it out and it was painful when I saw the final number, no discounts etc... which is why I decided not to book the QSDP yet! The upside is I will get $200 back when I cancel my other reservation so, really the trip is $200 less than it looks like, since that money was spent a long time ago :rotfl: Normally I wouldn't consider adding the DP if I had to pay for it, but all those snack credits would come in handy at F&W... we will see...

Sometimes my blondness stuns even myself! :lmao:

Everyone probably knows that ADR's can be made 180 days in advance, and if you have a resort reservation, on your 180 day date, you can make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation. :surfweb:

For those of you who went on trips in Nov/Dec (who were making reservations 180 days out), you may have been part of that group, like me, who benefitted fro a "glitch" in the system which allowed resort guests to book 190 days out... So every morning my dad would get online at 5 am and book our meals for 190 days from that date. It worked quite well and we got everything we wanted. Of course I have read that the "glitch" has been fixed, which is probably for the best. :confused3

So when I sat down to figure out what day I could make ADR's I had the two systems crossed in my head, so I was thinking I could only make the reservation 180 days out from the day I wanted. This was irritating because those are the days I will be at the wedding, and I won't have a computer. I tried it out on my phone, and I think it would have worked, but it took a long time.

Then I realized my mistake, redid the calculations, and discovered I can make my ADR's on April 26th!! Woo hoo!! :dance3:

Now my only concern is Pirates League. They say they take their last appointments at 3:30, and I have heard on MNSSHP days they have extended hours, but since Disney hasn't posted the dates "officially" will Pirates League be able to make later reservations?? I suppose it's not that big of a deal, I haven't told Jack about it yet, so if we can't get one now I will just keep trying, but I would like to have everything handled at once!

Oh I got to partake in that little Glitch!!! :dance3: What a extra bonus that was!!! :rotfl:

As far as Pirates League goes, I do beleive that they offer extended hours on MNSSHP nights. I know when Devon went the night we went to MNSSHP his appt was at 6p. A word of advise... They tend to get backed up quickly!!! My appt was at 6 and we weren't taken back till close to 7p. I was a little annoyed by that. I figured I be done by the time the party started, so definitely make an appoint early just in case you run into the same situation.

It was a nice glitch. It was super helpful for us.

Good to know. I figured since we won't be able to get into MK untill 4, I would schedule it for 4:30, that way we can get in and get a picture in front of the castle before makeup gets done, and then get another one after the transformation. I have decided though that if we can't get an early time we probably wont do it, I will just do some pirate-y makeup myself. I figured a black eye liner would do fine for some scruffy beard and a scar or two for Jack. I just don't want to spend too much party time on the Pirates League. And while I am sure he will enjoy it, I doubt he will really "get" the whole experience anyways. But if they can get him in at 4:30, we will totally do it!!

Count me in!!! Devon wants to stay there in 2013 too!!!

Ugh! I am so tired of waiting!!! Beyond having to wait for my various vacations to start, I am anxiously awaiting a discount for our Fall trip. And with all the speculation that there may not be another fall discount... I'm wondering if I made the right decision to cancel my FD September res... of course I couldn't really keep that trip, I am sure I would have run out of vacation time before that... so I know I made the right decision, I am just nervous. I am also tired of waiting to hear about this promotion. It's taking a ridiculous amount of time for them to decide. And we keep thinking they are going to tell us... and then they don't. ARGH!

On the upside, I am deep into the preparations for Jack's birthday party!! He is getting so big, it's amazing how fast they grow.

I guess I should be careful what I wish for... My boss finally told us about the promotion, and I didn't get it. I am happy for my coworker that did get it, but of course I am a bit disappointed, and honestly a little surprised. Rumor has it they want me for a "bigger and better" opportunity that will be coming along "soon", but I'm still a bit irritated. I haven't decided what to do exactly , but I think I won't seriously start looking elsewhere until after my vacation in May. That will give them time to come up with "other" job here, and if they haven't then I know I need to move on. :confused3

Here are the pics from the Cars 2 even hosted by State Farm

thanks for sharing these! we are hoping to catch them when they come to DTD during our trip.
sorry to hear that your job isn't working as you'd like it.

Looks like you had fun and you got some good pictures too!

Yay for being officially booked.

Ok, it may just be big to me but... I have joined Mouse World Travel as a new agent!! :goodvibes This makes me super happy because it gives me a chance to do what I love doing, but for people other than myself!! I got the idea from several other people who have done this recently, and I am do glad they put me on to it! :worship: Thanks so much !!!

That's awesome! Can you forward me some information about that? :lmao: You know I'd be good at that :teeth:

I am back to my PTR! I took a little break from my PTR obligations, mainly because I had pressing things to attend to, such as JACK"S 3RD BIRTHDAY!!!! My "baby" boy turned 3 on the 11th! He went to Build-A- Bear at the mall with my aunt and uncle and cousin on Sunday, and also got to ride the carousel 3 times, plus they took him to Panera where my other couisn is a manger and got him a brownie and sang him Happy Birthday. Then yesterday, his actual birthday, I treated him to a trip to the doctors office. I had promised him he wouldn't have to get any shots, but of course I was wrong. Evidently they have revamped one of the vaccines to include more viruses or something like that. But I had to get a shot too, and blood drawn (I went in for a routine physical) so I think it made him feel a little better. Also, they measured him, and they must have made a mistake last year, because this year they told me he is 38 inches... Last year he was supposedly 37 inches... obviously not, since he has grown quite a bit this past year. Of course this calls into question the whole reaching 40 by October, but I will continue to hope! Sunday night some family friends who can't make it to the party gave him their presents, he got a spiffy new outfit from one, and a Toy Story beach towel and Buzz sunglasses from the other.

Anywho, Monday Jack had Mickey Mouse cupcakes at daycare, and I got all the kids Mickey Mouse ear headbands to wear too. I am not sure my aunt took pictures, but I hope so!

We are not celebrating his birthday until tomorrow, since I haven't been off. Tomorrow one our friends is coming anf bringing dinner (my favorite since Jack doesn't have a favorite) and then we are having a mini Cars cake. He will get his presents from us tomorrow. My parents already got him a zoo membership, but they also got him this huge ball that you can actually get in and roll around in... I'm not sure how safe that sounds, so we will see. I got him a Buzz Lightyear bike (with training wheels obviously), though the helmet won't make it here till Thursday (I had to order it online because he needs a child's size instead of a toddler's... he has a large noggin). I also got him some Spiderman underpants (he specifically asked for them) and I got some little boxer briefs that I have ironed on Mr. Potato Head transfers, since he also asked for Tatohead underpants, and there is no such thing available. Today I was at the mall, and I couldn't resist getting him the 2/$24 PJ's since he needs new summer PJ's. I will probably give him one tomorrow and the other for Easter.

Sunday is his big birthday party. It looks like including Jack there will be 3 kids... that's the problem when you don't have any friends/family with children... but they will still have fun. We are doing an Easter egg hunt and possibly dying Easter eggs (I got a Toy Story kit). It's a Toy Story theme party, and I can assure you I will be posting pictures on Monday.

Whew, I think that's everything... I am starting to get the impression my kid is a bit spoiled... But all of this is fun for me too, so oh well!
