I had been hoping to finish the SeaWorld part of this last night, but we had a major snowstorm/sleet/freezing rain come through yesterday, overnight (and still snowing)and with it came thunder & ligthning! Off went the laptop and now I have a SNOWDAY
I'm hoping after some quick housework, I can put up the rest of SeaWorld.

i wish i had a snow day today. it was pretty rough up here, and i work in a doctors office and all our patients managed to come in.
the thunder was CRAZY last night. shook the windows here in appleton! very cool though. and its STILL SNOWING right now.

We had gone to Sea World the day before you. Its so relaxing. We had plenty of time to see all the shows and visit all the different animals with a bit of time left over to search for soveigners. We debated on the Pets Ahoy show. Since DS2 loves puppys we decided to watch it. So glad we did! Every show there is absolutely amazing!! Glad your family enjoyed it as much as mine!

We didn't get to see Pets Ahoy, the timing fell after the rain started. We moved up Believe so we wouldn't miss it.

Have read about the 'famous' mime in another TR and he sounds hilarious!! at the story of the family scenario and the the one of the guy with his pants soo down!!

The show sounds great! What a shame that Kadence didn't get chosen and Sam didn't get to feed the dolphins...hope she manages to experience it in Chicago.

Love the pic of the girls at the end...what a shot! Am glad the tornado damage was 30 mins east and not in Disney itself. Look forward to reading about your DHS day

The girls were asking where we'd go if the tornado came close, I told them not to worry, the hotel was strong enough to handle it. I made that up, just so they wouldn't worry

I hear you about the thunder, It was so crazy. I thought for sure Kadence would wake during it, but no. We finally got dug out here a little bit ago. It just stopped snow within the last 30 mins.
Too bad you had to drive in this. If I had a Dr. appt, I'd would canceled

That sea lion show is the exact same one they used to have in Ohio too. The mime there was always hilarious. I think all the animals were flown to Florida Sea World each winter and when the park closed I think they are were just left there permantantly. I think Sea World Ohio was the first to have a killer whale born in captivity if I remember right. I don't think our shamu stadiun was that big though.

Too bad about the rain. I keep checking the long range weather for our trip and right now it has the 2 Disney days as rain.

Carey, your pictures are fantastic! We've debated on going to Sea World (my mother has never seen a whale and Hunter was just 3 the last time we went) and your report is making me want to add it to our list of things/places to do.

Thanks, I was in awe of the whales. The rain did have sucky timing, but overall we did everything on our list. Go early before the Believe show, the great seats fill fast. We got seats on the level we walked in on, right as the splash zone ended.

Hi A quick interuption from the TR. A few of you know that my DH & I are planning a trip to Disney in Sept. This will be a for suprise to our DD Kadence. Our older DD will not be joining us as she will be in college. We have fun travels and experiences with Samantha in the 10 years before Kadence came along, so now it's Kadence's turn to have some.

Anyways, I'm not going to do a Pre-TR for Sept, If I do, I may blow the secret. Plus, it would be a boring PTR, with no imput by the kiddo.

I've decided to break in to this TR once in a blue moon, and just update the important details, ADR's, and ideas I come up with

So far, our dates Sept 21st- 25th and staying at POP. I tried to switch resorts this week but there wasn't any availablity at POR for the free dining promo we got last year. There is some hope as people cancel at the 45 day mark, and something may become open for us at POR.

I made my ADR's this morning;

9/22- My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party @ 10:30am-12:00pm
9/22- Whispering Canyon @ 5:05pm
9/23- Sci FI Dinner @ 12:10pm
9/24- Cinderella's Royal Table @ 8:10am
9/24- 1900 Park Fare @ 4:30pm

I had to call for the Tea Party twice, because my dumb cell phone dropped the call as I was giving the CM my comfirm #

We have our airfare done, we got a great deal $100 each way per person. Plus I used our $75 coupons we got from Airtran when our plane was delayed in Jan, and the $50 dollars per person off when Airtran sent some more coupons in the mail as a bouns for returning our comment cards with nice comments

Well that's all I have for now. Back to regularly scheduled programming

I will be doing a TR for Sept. I'm hoping that Kadence has an awesome reaction to the SUPRISE The Tea party is a present fron her Grandma, and I can't wait. I will definatly be doing every detail on it.

I'm so thankful we got the vouchers for so much more off our flights. It really freed up some money to do other things. Orignally our trip was Sept 22-25th, we added a day after our figuring out our flights would be so much cheaper.

I'm so jealous of it all...especially the tea party. You are going to have a blast!!

The morning after the storm, it was kinda gloomy out. A little drizzle, but nothing to really get you wet. DH & I went to Riverside Grille to get some breakfast to bring back to the room. This was our first Hollywood Studios day and yep, we were going for 9:00am rope drop and TSM!
We got to DHS about 20 mins before and the gates opened soon after. We had lagged back in the pack because Sammy’s ankles were bothering her. (She has ankle problems and all the walking was starting to cause issues) I snapped a few pictures along the way.





We were lucky enough to not have to wait more than 10 mins to ride





I had the highest score in the vehicle!



After we got out, I jumped in the fast pass line, and the return time was already 12:40pm! The wait time for TSM was at 60 mins already!

*September update*

I have been looking for a Sleeping Beauty dress for Kadence to wear to the Tea Party. All the ones I've really liked have been kind of expensive. But, on Sunday night I was just browsing ebay and I found IT
It's a Disney Store edtion and I recived it today. Guess what I paid???

The sellar was offering free shipping and I had a 10% off to use. The same dress has been going for $65.00! Here's a picture



My next mission; shoes. I'm thinking pink flats.

Also, lately Disney has been showing lots of commericals with Families suprising thier kids. I made the comment, " who wants a suprise trip to Disney?" Kadence was like ME, ME, ME!!! John asked her want would you do if we did that, She said scream and faint. Maybe I should have some smelling salts with me, just in case

I love it! I really love the gold details! And you got a great deal to boot!

Before our trip, I got Katie a pair of gold and a pair of silver flats at Payless. She loved them and wore them everywhere, both with her costumes and her skirt sets. It was a nice find in light of the fact that she's too big for the Disney costume shoes now.
