Momma, I got to dance with Flynn Ryder! A January 2011 TR.

On the TOT pic, which I should have bought, she looked bored:confused3

Well, she IS a teenager......

Can't wait to get to see the Tangled pics. Wanna jump ahead a few days???? :lmao: Just kidding. I want to see it all. Looking forward to the next update!

Did you notice the push button was blacked out on that one picture? I wonder why???:rolleyes1:lmao:

Wow...Daisy at Epcot...I don't think I ever heard of her being there. I have to ask...and I know I should know this because I have asked on these boards a zillion times, but for some reason it doesn't stick in my mind. Is the Visa character meet in the right side building as you are walking in?
Daisy was just hanging out in the open next to Spaceship Earth. no line, Kadence noticed her and ran for it!
Yes, the building is the one on the right. You'll walk in and go past the fire truck around to the left and then you see the sign for it. If you circle around past the Segway demo, you've just walked past it.

Well, she IS a teenager......

She is a teen, like totally to the max.......:lmao: Next update coming soon. Saturday, as friday I have to count out 175 boxes of girl scout cookies. Kadence was top seller in her troop!!:cheer2:

You know, I was going to comment on that, but I thought it spoke loudly as is:lmao:

Welcome and :wave2: So far it's been all fun!

I'm getting so excited for Sept. I am getting all my ADR"s together and ready for me to do them at the end of this month.
My MIL has offered to pay for Kadence and I to attend the My Disney Girl Princess Tea Party, and I beyond excited for her to have this memory.

Our 2nd Epcot day was all about the World Showcase. I planned this around when the World Showcase would open at 11:00am. Our ADR at Akershus was at 9:30am, I figured it would give us an hour or so to eat, visit with the Princesses, and be ready to roam by 11:00. Samantha still thought being ready to go to the bus by 8:30 was too early! This kid could sleep past noon, and complain about being woken up!
We got to Epcot very quickly, and we were let in early to get to our ADR. I so love an empty park. We headed towards Akershus, stopping to take some photos along the way.

Sam’s shot of the day

First and only time we seen the Tron O rail the whole trip

Kadence, what am I going to do with you?

We reached Akershus right at 9, so I thought I’d just check us in and wait to be called, but they took us in right away.
They took the girls' picture with Belle, (I wish they would have zoomed out a bit, Kadence is hardy in the pic)

I got to take one of my own. I forgot to change my camera settings, so it’s not the greatest.

The food was good. The potato casserole was tasty. We all enjoyed the cold buffet.

Soon the Princesses came around, first Aurora

Cinderella

Ariel

Snow White

Right after the last Princess, the parade around the restaurant started. Kadence walked with Ariel, but before I got a shot off, she came back. Of course, she had to use the bathroom! She was so disappointed that the parade was over when we were done.
Soon we finished up and headed out to change Kadence out of her dress and stop and buy the girls their Passport kits.

Cont next post;

Akershus photos that wouldn't fit in the last post

We started in Mexico, The girls got their first stamp in the passports and Kadence got a Duffy bear on a stick to color at each Kidcot stop.
We checked out the wares for sale. Samantha enjoyed this stop, she’s in her 4th year of Spanish, and thought this was neat.

I think the Sombrero is bigger than Kadence

We rode along with the 3 Caballeros.

We then moved on to Norway.

We rode Maelstrom, and surprisingly Kadence loved it. We did skip the movie at the end.

A stop in gift shop for another stamp and Samantha met a new “friend”.

She really has great taste in hats!

Man, isn't traveling with a teenager a challenge! I know on our road trip, we kept joking about putting our oldest in the car to sleep at night so he'd just be there waiting for us the next morning!

And Kadence is adorable in her Belle costume. You can just see the excitement on her face in all those photos!

That is so wonderful. She doesn't happen to want to pay for me and Claire too. I would gladly try to fit it in if she was up for paying for it! :rotfl2:

I love the viking hat. Paige bought that hat back in 1999! :rotfl:

Love all the pictures of Epcot. Breakfast at Akershus looks great - we are going for dinner and looking forward to it.

Good luck with the planning for the September trip. Will keep a look out at Pop to see if I can spot you :cool1:

That is a great idea  Now all I have to do is find a way to get her flat iron, hair dryer & curling iron plugged in the truck, make-up case set up and an exhaust fan for us when she starts spraying her perfume. Then listen to her complain she has nothing to wear as she's sorting through a huge pile of clothing. :lmao::rotfl:

Kadence was thrilled with her Belle dress. I got 2 days before the trip, and suprised her with it.

My MIL is giving that to Kadence as a birthday present, I'll just tell her it's yours too!:thumbsup2

Sam said she should have bought the hat. She wear an Elmer Fudd hat alot here, so it wouldn't be too much weirder:rolleyes:

Breakfast was good, and I thought the service was great. I'm so excited about Sept. It's going to be a suprise for Kadence, and we're having a hard time not talking about it in front of her.( ADR's and such) I'll keep an eye out for you!

LOL! I guess it IS a lot easier with a boy........ :rotfl2: Now stop on all the details. My girl isn't a teenager yet. You're SCARING :scared1: me! :lmao:

Good momma! A surprise dress and now a surprise trip. The best I've done was a surprise trip to Pick-a-pearl...... and even that was so hard to keep I almost forgot to do it!

Looks like a great start around World Showcase! Gotta love an empty park. :thumbsup2

Love the empty WS photos!

Was the Passport the one that you can by in Epcot or did you have a different one? I've always wondered how good those were.

We have been in 3 of the parks before opening, it's kinda nice to have that time before the madness!

We bought them at Epcot. It looks like a regular passport with mickey on the front and it comes with a button. Kadence thinks she's a world traveler :thumbsup2

We moved on to China.

Mulan was just coming back from a break so Kadence visited with her. They really had time to chat with no one else in line.

Mulan showed her how to pose.

We looked around inside, found some cool statues.

I had to ask where the Kidcot stop was, it turned out to be a recurring question the whole way around the countries. They almost seem hidden out of sight at some places. They wrote in the passports each girls’ name in the counties language, which I thought was neat, and Kadence also got her Duffy bear stick stamped as well.
A quick stop at the Outpost

We then moved on to Germany. I wanted to check out the caramel shop, but there was a line and everyone else wanted to keep exploring. I am so going in there in Sept!

cont next post...

Italy was next;

Sam was soooo excited she could barely contain herself.

Kadence and showing off her half colored Duffy

I just thought this was neat, the Kidcot stop was right next this wall.

We headed over to the good old USA and just missed the movie! So we just checked out the gift shop and got the stamps.

Most of the morning, Kadence kept asking me “when are we going to pick our pearl?” I had gotten the girls pearl cages in the shape of Cinderella’s carriage for Christmas. Finally I was able to answer her.

Love the WS photos - how awesome is it that you can explore all these different countries in Epcot?!

Wow they sure do make it difficult to find the Kidcot stops. Can't believe you managed to pass Karamell Kuche and not go in - don't think I could do that!

Looking forward to seeing the girls pick a pearl :yay:
