Momma, I got to dance with Flynn Ryder! A January 2011 TR.

Thank you for posting a picture! I was debating on these and now I'm definitely picking them up for our trip in May :thumbsup2

Beautiful - I really can't wait to do this with my daughter!!!!!!
The girls had fun, and now they have beautiful reminders of our trip.

I LOVE them. Can't wait to do it!
Have you decided if your going to do it at Epcot or Seaworld?

what a great trip report! subbing! can't wait for more!
 HI and Welcome. I'm working on one now, maybe tonight.

Thank you for posting a picture! I was debating on these and now I'm definitely picking them up for our trip in May :thumbsup2

You can get them off of ebay, that where I got them. The girls love having matching necklaces.

Those carriage cages are adorable! Fantastic idea!! :thumbsup2

Morocco was next;

I am so amazed that as close as the counties are to each other, you don’t notice that. It seemed like you’ve just arrived in that country.

The light was coming through this light fixture and I failed to get the shot I wanted, but I still like it.

Excuse me, but I think the top on this model is missing some cloth. Leave it to my DD’s to miss it. I love the camels’ hat!

I didn’t notice Kadence’s scowl until I was editing my photos. One of the rare pictures I’m, and I don’t remember her being crabby. Little stinker!

As we headed toward France, there was a show going on. Sam would not let us stop. LOL

Here's a quick look in France, you'll see next why it was brief......

This was where Kadence had a mini melt down. She was in need of a snack, and I was going to get her one. We went in the bakery, but she didn’t want anything in there. She was in a mood that I don't think anything would have appealed to her. I was about drooling, but stopping her tirade was first.
And here’s all it took

Children, got to love them……………right?

Up Ahead, the UK

Would a call from here be considered an overseas call?

O Canada!

We kind of breezed through Canada. It was here that Kadence told us she’d lost her new purse. It was a pink, heart shaped plush Cinderella purse. I had no clue where in the world it could be. I wasn’t about to back track through all the countries. Plus hunger was hitting us. I inquired at Guest relations if anyone had turned it in, but it wasn’t and they gave me the number for the main lost & found, which I called for 2 days. It was never found. She was sad, I was mad. How can you just pick up something that does not belong to you and keep it? :confused3 I know someone found and kept it. :headache:

We were thinking about heading to DTD to Earl of Sandwich but I didn’t think Kadence was going to last much longer without something to eat. We decided to stop at the Electric Umbrella. It filled the hole, but I wish we could have gone to EOS.
I got the Chicken Caesar Salad, DH & Kadence got a burger, and Sam got Chicken Nuggets.

It was about 5:00pm and I planned Illuminations for this night. We decided to go back to the resort, relax/ rest for a while, get warmer clothes as it was going to be chilly, and come back at 8.

I didn’t take too many pictures of Illuminations. My DH wanted to be close to the exit so we could beat most of the rush after the show. Most of the spots without a post or tree in were taken, so I just roamed a bit during to show. Here are a couple of my best shots.

If I ever would take serious pictures of this show, a tripod & good spot is important. The show was pretty neat. We did manage to beat the crowds’ afterwards and get right on a bus back to POR.
Right to bed we went, cuz silly me :rolleyes1 made an ADR @ O’hana for 7:30am!

Then off to SeaWorld for the day.

I am really enjoying your trip report! It's funny how kids can be in such a grumpy mood so quickly and then everything turn around in a second. :confused3 I have a couple questions. Where in Japan is the Pick-A-Pearl? I've never been to WDW before, so can you be specific? Also, where did you get those pearl cages? I think I remember you saying on Ebay, but which seller? How is the quality of them? I'm really excited about getting my own pearl!!!

Thanks, I'm enjoying going back over it, but also sad that it's over. Kadence sometimes can be a bit dramatic , but usually a snack brings her right back.

Ok onto your questions,
Pick a pearl is in the gift shop. Walk in, and it's on your left hand side. I think the store is straight ahead into Japan.

I did get the pearl cages on ebay. Thery were very reasonable, around $9.50 for both. The do come with chains, but the chains are short. Kadence's fits great, but Samantha switched out her's with a different one.

I think the quality is fine, but I don't remember the sellar. I will look and get back to you.

Its really shameful that someone would not turn a little girls purse over to lost and found but some people aren't so nice. When my daughter was 3 we were pushing along the stroller and realized she was telling us she dropped her sunglasses. When we turned around to look a lady was standing up from picking up something off the ground. We asked if she'd found my daughters sunglasses. She said nope. Little while later we saw her again, her daughter amazingly had on the same sunglasses. :sad2: Maybe coincidental but...

BTW I am really enjoying your TR. Great job! Can't wait to read more!
We were at Disney January 21st to the 31st.

Really enjoying your trip report! Looks like you guys had a great time...can't wait to hear more! :)

I think that some people just don't relize that allowing your kids to keep something they found is wrong. They think too bad, so sad. I feel bad that Kadence loost it, but I hope that this can be a lesson as well; if you find it, it's not yours, turn it in.

We were there from Jan21st-30th! How did you do during the serve weather on the 25th ? We just made it back to the room before the downpour. Cool nights too!

Really enjoying your trip report! Looks like you guys had a great time...can't wait to hear more! :)
Thanks and Welcome  We had the best time. I have lots more :thumbsup2

Lovely pics of Morocco, France and Canada :thumbsup2

Yay for Marie cheering up Kadence and putting her in a better mood. Was sad to hear that the purse wasn't handed in...don't know how people can keep lost items and not feel guilty.

After seeing so many great pics of Illuminations can't wait to experience it for myself!!

I haven't decided yet. But I wil lgive the cages on our Sea World day. Then we can see how it is htere, and if not, then we'll just get them in Japan.

I forget the ebay sellers name for those too, but I think if you search pearl cages on ebay they should come up.

I forgot to mention about her lost purse. As you may remember we lost "Poppy Jr" at the mall a few weeks ago. Claire was devastated and luckily we saw a girl walking with it. And they did give it back after a little hesitation. But not only is it mean to pick it up, but who knows what germs are on it. We could be a typhoid family for all they know.

We've had the meltdowns too. Last trip I thought Claire was going to "dye" if she didn't get a hotdog soon. And YES, it had to be a hotdog, nothing else.

I didn't know you could do pearls at Seworld at the time we went, or I would have at least checked into it.
I found the ebay sellars name and passed it on , but when I searched ebay, no carriage pearl cages came up:confused3 I think us Dis'ers have snatched them all up!

I thought of Kadence's purse when you posted about poppy jr. I agree with your thoughts of germs! Who knows what things have on them. I wouldn't touch someones items for that reason alone. I even have a hard time touching comforters on hotel beds. Who Knows what on it. :rolleyes1

Usually a few Cheese Its will help her attitude, but WOW, it was almost head spin time befor she saw Marie!

Lovely pics of Morocco, France and Canada :thumbsup2

I know it's mean to say, but I hope they lose the purse as well.:headache:

Illuminations was very neat. I would def say go early for a good spot!

The Ebay seller with the carriage cages is kzgc08. It looks like they are out right now, but I'm going to keep checking back just in case

This was our SeaWorld day. I figured since SeaWorld didn’t open until 9am, I could make an ADR for breakfast. O’hana was our choice. I knew we were going to have to be at the bus stop at 6:30 to catch the early ADR bus. Of course that brought a complaint from the teenager. She has said when she goes on vacation by herself, she going to sleep as long as she wants.
Anyway, we were all ready to go and we made it to the bus stop by 6:25. We were the only people there, and it was chilly. My DD’s shared one jacket.

The MK bus was soon picking us up, with the driver asking us if we had an ADR. I said yes, O’hana. We then headed on to POFQ. There was one family there to be picked up, and when the bus driver asked them if they were heading to a meal they replied yes, O’hana! The bus driver then made our day, he told us and the other family he would take us right to the Polynesian, since the monorail wouldn’t be running until 7:00am. What a nice bus driver. We all thanked him, and headed in to the Polynesian. It was just 7:00am by then so we wandered around a little just to see the sights, and then sat and waited for the CM to check us in.

We were the first family to check in and get our picture taken.

We were then showed our seats and give our drinks and warm pineapple breads. YUM! I thought I took a pic, but I guess not. Soon our food was set down,

It was all very good. We got refills twice! Soon the characters started coming around. Stitch was first. The funniest part was when he first came to the table. Kadence didn’t see him and he came up behind her and with a big licking sound, he acted like he was licking her head. He was really interactive with her.

I think he felt that Sammy was ignoring him, so he went over to her grabbed her head and licked her too

Lilo was next, she didn’t stay as long
