"Mom, why does the Magical Bus have to be the happiest and the saddest bus?"NEW 8/24!

So, our last park day was over and all we had left was a night's sleep and a morning to pack, eat, and catch the ME bus. So we got up around 7:15 and got to work! Cory dressed the kiddos while I packed up our stuff. We had gotten a bit done the day before so there wasn't too much to do but enough to keep my busy for almost an hour. We had to catch the bus at 10:00am I think. I showered SUPER fast and we headed to the Sassy food court for some breakfast! Before the kids got dressed they wanted a pic with their "babies"!

I had "lost" my earrings a couple days before, my favorite pair of hoops and I had looked everywhere and never could find them. While I was packing I noticed on the drawer knob next to the bed:

My darling girl must have put them there for fun!! I was happy as a clam to find them!!!

It wasn't too busy and we quickly got our food!!!

The kiddos got Mickey waffles and bacon. I got a BIG Mickey waffle too!!! YUMMY!!!

Nice ending to a fantastic vacation, stayed at POFQ years ago and my youngest son loved the slide there too, so much so we stayed there again the following year.

Hi Beth - I love that you took a picture of your "little friend" the gecko. When I was on the College Program at WDW I took several pictures of those little guys and my friends would just laugh at me. Apparently, to most of the country they're just annoying little animals and they couldn't figure out why I thought they were so interesting. One of the native Floridians told me it would be like taking pictures of squirrels running around your yard.

We tried to stretch the "Disney Magic" as long as we could! We were glad we had an early afternoon flight so we could sit down and enjoy breakfast that morning. The last day always stinks!!

I think the kids were happy because they didn't realize that we were actually going home and no more Disney World. Finding my earrings was definitely a nice surprise!!

Hi Beth - I love that you took a picture of your "little friend" the gecko. When I was on the College Program at WDW I took several pictures of those little guys and my friends would just laugh at me. Apparently, to most of the country they're just annoying little animals and they couldn't figure out why I thought they were so interesting. I LOVE those little guys! I am sure they are annoying to the locals, but to us it was really cool! The kids liked trying to spot them, we always saw them along the sidewalks at FQ. I guess to us Minnesotans they are really exciting! I wonder if they get sick of the Northerners taking their pictures...

Me too Angie! It was nice to enjoy a slower morning and a hot breakfast, too bad it had to be our departure day! The kids LOVE their "babies", those are the ones they take to "Disney World" at home.

Hey Heather, I have been MIA too!! I have SO MANY TR to catch up on! I am hoping for a rainy day here and a good nap afternoon to just sit and DIS! Breakfast was wonderful, but sad as it was our last couple of hours in WDW!

That's too funny Alicia about your mom's earring! For the life of me the whole time they were missing I could not figure out where they went! Leave it to my darling daughter to hang them someplace!!! The breakfast was goooooood!

Finally an update, but a sad one because it was just about time to depart Disney property! After breakfast we made one last stop at the gift shop, I got a Mickey wine bottle stopper for my sister and a couple other things I can't remember now. Before we left the Sassy food court I did buy about 25 Mickey straws for Gabe's class at school and for my niece and nephew and for us at home. It was a nice souvenir for him to share with his class!

Then it was back to our room to get our stuff and head to ME! Cory got a text at this time telling us our flights home had been CANCELED! What???? It told us to still go to the airport to rebook on a new flight. I was ticked off and hoped we wouldn't be too delayed. I took a few more pics on our way to the ME stop of our beautiful POFQ!

Into the airport we went...we had to wait in the regular line to figure out flights, we waited over an hour in line with all our luggage and with two tired kiddos. We got put on the 3:30 flight home (2 hours past our regular flight time). So we were able to sit down for lunch at Outback, then flew home sad and tired and dreaming of our next WDW adventure!!! It was a MAGICAL TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
