Beautiful pictures at the GF!!:goodvibes It looks like your parent's had wonderful time! Yum..those strawberries and cream look soooo good!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Angie!! My mom just loves the GF and everything about it! It's her "style" and she adores the tea and tells all of her friends about it! I need to get over there though and walk around the grounds, it looks absolutely beautiful!!! So many nice touches!!

All caught up! Great updates. The Kona lunch looks very good! Brian and I thought the Poly was really spread out and he wasn't thinking he'd like to ever stay there:confused3

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVED Earl of Sandwich!!! I think it is a great price and the food is really, really good.

I love Helen's scrunchy face! My kids liked riding on the monorail too! Especially the "bing bong" part.

We didn't do BnCr but your pics look great. If we ever do go there, we're gonna have to go for the Kitchen Sink!

Can't wait to hear about the rest of it! Oh and I think we are going to TS3 tonight!!!

hey beth! great pics from Beaches and Cream...everything looks delicious! YUM! and super cute pics of mom and dad at tea time!! So romantic! can't wait for next update!

Okay Beth, I am all caught up and now I'm officially starving! Earl of Sandwich looked great, as well as Goofy's...gonna definitely have to go to DTD one night in September. The strawberries and cream at GF looked wonderful too. I can't wait to see Toy Story 3. My kids are older now, but I believe I could talk them into going :)

So I bet your kids would go and see it too, it seems to appeal to all ages!!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Karen, our last two days are always so busy and packed with a lot of hopping, but it's always fun to do our favorites like TSMM one more time!!! It was nice that Cory and I got away for a bit, we even got to do it a second time on our last day!!! My parents LOVE their "alone time" too and I know my mom could spend a whole day wandering at the GF!!!:goodvibes

Ah!!! Finally an update!!! YEAH! I think as I am getting towards the end of our trip report, it's making me missing me Disney all over again!!!!!

We left Beaches n' Cream and had to walk to the Yacht Club bus stop as the Beach Club ones were under construction. We were the only ones waiting for a bus, it was beautiful sitting there are on the benches watching the quiet ins and outs of resort guests. Then after about 10 minutes along came a bus bound for the ANIMAL KINGDOM!
Helen was a bit tired and relaxed in my lap on the empty bus.

We picked up a couple people at the Boardwalk I think and headed to the park! We got dropped off and headed for the entrance, quick pic of the "Everyday Bus".

I told them to "roar" for this one!

We wanted to get some more Photopass pics on this day so we made some stops on our way into the park:
Dreams Come True here too!:goodvibes

Gabe LOVES this magical picture!
Image0038.jpg

We picked up a stroller for Gabe, and then took our time wandering through the Oasis and looking at all the wildlife. The kiddos really like trying to spot the animals, Helen is finding one of the ducks buried in the bushes!

Photopass Time!

Now we had two main objectives at AK this day. One was to see our favorite parade and also see Festival of the Lion King since Gabe's new obsession was Timon. So it was already about that time to stake out a spot for the parade, we found a nice uncrowded shady spot! We goofed around with pictures and munched on some snacks as we waited! (I don't know how we were hungry after just finishing all the food at BnC, but we seem to always be able to eat!!)
Here is my patient family waiting:

Gabe took this one of Cory:

Then we started to hear some music...

You all just look so happy!! Helen does look a wee bit sleepy in you arms. Did she end up falling asleep?

Yay, Animal Kingdom! I love it there. The picture of the kids "roaring" is too funny.

I have never seen that one photopass pic with the box and Stitch popping out. Very fun!

We had a fun day Stephanie! The kids were in great spirits and glad to be waiting for that parade!! After the parade she fell asleep, I will post in my next update how cute she looked!! I thought she would zonk out on the bus too!:goodvibes

Thanks Sarah! I knew it was a "surprise" pic but I didn't know of what and Gabe is liking Stitch now so it was a happy surprise for him too!!! We could spend a part of everyday in AK if we had to, there is SO MUCH to see and I am bummed that we missed a lot!

Was Gabe holding that box or was that added to the picture too?? Very cool shot! :thumbsup2

Gabe was holding the box! They only added Stitch, it turned out really cool, I wish we would have done the Tinkerbell shot in MK, that's my favorite "magic" picture!!

I'm listening to the rain and reading your awesome trip report! Your family looks so relaxed and like they are really enjoying themselves!

We are thinking about taking my parents next time, too. We were looking at POR and I think you have sold me on it! I love the idea about surprising them with a carriage ride-I might have to borrow that!

I also love the way you can split up and do your own thing, too. I was wondering how that would work out. Reading your trip report shows me it can work out-and be an awesome trip!

Great photopass pics Beth!!:goodvibes Love the stitch picture and the one of the kids roaring!!! We've never seen the parade at AK. I can't wait to hear about it!:thumbsup2

Hi Just found your TR and I am enjoying hearing all about your trip. I am only on page 10 but I have to say your kids are adorable! We got there the day after you left, we were at POR.

Thank you so much for reading along and all your sweet comments too!!!:goodvibes We had a wonderful vacation and we were pretty relaxed even with all the running around we did, especially the last two days! :rotfl:

We have had now two GREAT trips with my parents along. We are very close to them (they live less than a mile away) and we hang out often. So, when traveling together, things go really smooth!! They LOVED their carriage ride and it was a great way to give them something "special" and different to do this trip! It's also nice that Cory and I can get away a bit on our own!! It's fun to be together and fun to split up too!! We have only had positive experiences so far!! POR and FQ are beautiful resorts!!!! Great choice!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Angie! I fell in love with the Photopass pics this trip and I am sure to be even more into the next time around!! The Stitch pic is cute, it turned out really nice! It will definitely go in a frame!!!

Thank you so much for reading along and for the nice comment about my kiddos!! We had so much fun on the trip and I am so glad it shows in their pics!!!!! I hope you had a great trip as well, we really like the style and atmosphere of both PO resorts!!!!:goodvibes

WOW! I finally am doing an update!!!

We were in AK waiting for our favorite parade, I only have these two pics of the kids watching, we recorded the parade itself! We LOVE this parade and all the music! It's so high energy and fun!

DSC01549.jpg

The kids LOVED it and Helen danced the whole parade!!:banana:
There was an older couple across the "street" from us who kept waving at our kiddos and telling the dancers to come over! It was so sweet of them to do so. They came over after the parade to say hi to the kids and how much they enjoyed watching them. It's always so wonderful to hear sweet things said about your kids!:goodvibes
After the parade we HAD to go over and see the Festival of the Lion King, Gabe HAD to see Timon in action!! Helen was getting tired but sitting in a cool theater sounded nice so off we went! We ran into that couple again and we sat near them. They were glad to be watching the kids have fun again! The lights went down and so did Helen!!!

This is Gabe's "HAPPY" face!:rotfl:

We were in the "Lion" section and enjoyed every minute of the show!!

We said good-bye to our new friends and decided to head for the bus. Helen woke up right before we hopped on! We had a lot of fun in AK, and waved good-bye until our next trip!!:sad1::wave2:

We headed back to FQ (continued in the next post)
