We decided to take the Monorail back to the Magic Kingdom! The station is right out from Kona and a train was pulling right up as we were walking out!!! Helen had a great first ride!! Everyone felt good (and stuffed) after a great lunch!!!

They had to copy Helen's squinty face!

We made it back to MK! By this time it was about 2:15 so after our quick pic out front

we went to go and snag a spot for the parade!!! Cory and my dad got us some YUMMY ice cream sandwiches from the bakery, and my mom, Helen, and I shared!! So Good!! I wish I had taken a picture of it! The kids waited so well especially because we were in the sun!

Thankfully there was a lot to look at with a high school marching band and the little Volunteer parade!

It was great as always but we were boiling hot sitting in the sun!!!! Sorry no parade pics!!
We decided to hit up a couple of rides before we headed out! On our way to the teacups we ran into White Rabbit!!

The kiddos loved him! Then my mom and I took them on Mad Tea Party!!! YEAH!!! (The guys hate this attraction!)

It was fun, they both loved it and Helen cried when it was time to get off, they LOVE LOVE LOVE to spin!!!!
Next we all went on the Speedway!! (Our wait times for these were both less than 10 minutes!) Gabe HAD to get on these cars!!! Helen and Cory went together, me and my mom went together and Gabe and gramps drove together, here's the only pic I have, Gabe is in there and driving!

Next up Gabe wanted to ride BTMRR again! He rode with Grandma and Grandpa this time! The two guys in the red shirts in the middle and then two rows back! You can only see my dad though!

Then we shopped a bit on Main Street and started heading out of the park! We had a wonderful MK day!!!!!!!

Hi Beth!! Loved your updates!! Your lunch at Kona looked so yummy and what a nice afternoon break too!! We've never ate at Kona before only Ohana's but we may have to give it a try....any excuse to visit the Poly! It's so beautiful there!

Your "squinty face" pictures are hilarious!! You know that will become a family tradition now!!! In my family DS4 has the worlds greatest scowl, so I always pull out the camera to try to catch a pic of him scowling which then makes him grin so then I have these wierd half-angry/half-smiling face pix of him...he looks like the Joker or something! Kids do make the sweetest and silliest faces!!!

Glad you guys got a good seat for the parade - right on the curb! WHAT-no boys on the teacups!!! Hope mine don't mind riding 'cause someone's gonna ride the teacups with me!!!

Thanks Angie!! Kona was awesome!! I totally agree that any chance to get over to the Poly is great!!!!!! Ohana is on our list of restaurants too, any place that serves huge meat skewers will be right up Cory's alley!!! The monorail was great! The kids loved it, especially Gabe! It's fun to "pose" for pics like that!! The White Rabbit was fun to meet and see, the kids haven't seen Alice in Wonderland yet, but that didn't stop them from wanting to meet him!!! We had an awesome MK day!!!

Thanks Karen! The sandwich was AWESOME, especially with the avocado on it, and those sweet potato chips were to die for!!!!! The sprinkles were so great too!!!! I love to capture the kids' faces all the time! I know soon she'll stop doing that so I am so glad when I can get pics to remember those sweet and silly things they do!! Our seats were great for the parade! It was hot on the sunny side but it wasn't very crowded on our side either!! The teacups were great!! I am glad the kids love it so I have someone to always ride with!!!

Ahhhh, a quiet house finally so I have some time to be on the DIS!!!!

We saw Toy Story 3 last night!!!! It was incredible and Disney/Pixar did an outstanding job on this heartwarming story!! We laughed a lot , I cried several times , and we even cheered!!! Gabe absolutely LOVED it!!! This was his 3rd movie in a theater (his first two TS and TS2 in 3D)!! I believe he may think that all movies at the theater are 3D!!! It was a wonderful movie and Cory and I were so happy to be able to share it with Gabe!!! Gabe even gets to see it again next week with my parents!!! Lucky kid!!!

Okay, back to the TR!!! We were leaving MK and by the time we got back to FQ, we grabbed the kiddos some dinner and we played at the playground for a bit! Then my parents offered to watch them tonight while Cory and I went to DTD, we said "YES! PLEASE!!" So, we left them at the playground and Cory and I went back to our room and changed into jeans, it had already started to cool off a bit! We opened our connecting door so when they got back Mom and Dad could put the kiddos to bed!! We hopped on a boat and were off!!! We had a relaxing ride down the river to DTD! Here are some pics of us getting closer!

Our mission was to eat, shop a bit, and go to GOOFY'S!!!!
We were really hungry and didn't want to sit down and wait for food so we went and grabbed some food at Earl!!!!

Cory got soup and ham & swiss.
I got the club!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO goooooooooooood!!!!
We wandered through a ton of stores, I bought a little Snow White necklace for my niece and that was about it. We thought we would scope things out for when we brought the kids the next day!
Buzz is a little frisky!!!

After an hour of shopping we headed over to Goofy's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YUMMY!!!

I don't think Cory wanted anything but I sure did!!! Here's my order!!!

We looked on as it was being made!!

We waited and were checking things out!

Now that's what a call a rice krispy treat!!!!!!!!!
And Minnie too!

Peanut Butter Cup time!!!

Holy cow!! This is what I ordered:
Mickey krispy treat
dipped in dark chocolate
covered in peanut butter cups
drizzled with more dark chocolate!!!!!!!
Suspense!!

First Bite!

That thing was thick!!! I think it took 3 bites to get to the krispy treat!!!

In total that night I think I only had about 5 bites, it was rich and SUPER delicious!! The kids and I ate on that thing for the rest of the trip!!! They DO NOT skimp on toppings here!!!
We then headed back to the dock, it was about 10 or so! Fulton's looks so pretty all lit up at night!

YAY! for Goofy's Your pictures of all the goodies are making me hungry!Yum!! On our first trip, the boys decided to get the cookies and then they added so many toppings...it was soooo rich. I'm not sure they even finished them. You're right they definitely don't skimp on the toppings!!! Aww...such an adorable picture of the Gabe and Helen sleeping.

We saw TS3 Too!!!! LOVED IT!!

I love all the pictures of Goofy's candy shop. Now, I was wondering if that rice krispie treat was a snack credit or not. I have heard that they are no longer offered as a snack credit. I don't know if you are using the DDP or not. I can't remember. I really want to eat at Earl of Sandwich. I have never eaten there before, but I think the sandwiches look delicious. Thanks for all the food porn! Now I am hungry!!

We got one of the last spots at the hub, to the left of the castle right on the corner before it turns over to Liberty Square! After we sat I ran the Gabe's stroller back to the rental place to get that out of the way. It started filling in for Spectro really fast. Here are a few pics of us waiting patiently!
What a MAGICAL ending to a long and fun Disney Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We too loved the spectro parade and we got lucky and were standing right under Tink when she flew (we saw it on Thursday) so that was a big plus for my Tink lovin' girl. However it was the busiest day they had at MK and the line to get back to the resort was unreal. Otherwise, the rest was magical!
So glad you got to see the parade and the fireworks and enjoy it with your family.

It's so beautiful all lit up at night! My Goofy treat was soooo good but it was REALLY rich!! Thankfully I love rich food!! I want to try the dipped pretzels next time!! They looked really good too!!! It was so nice coming back to sleeping kids!!!!

Yeah for going and seeing Toy Story 3!!! It was awesome!! I would even see it a second time in the theater I enjoyed it that much!!!! Goofy's is REALLY good!! We weren't on the dining plan so I am not sure if it's considered a snack or not. I think the treat was $7 or so. We ate on it for the next 3 days though so I felt it was worth it!!! It's so fun to make your own too!! They had really cute Nemo cookies in there that I wished I would have grabbed for the kiddos! You will HAVE to hit up Earl next time, it's super good and there is such a nice variety of sandwiches offered! We like to eat there every trip!!!!!

Only 2 more days of our trip to go!! I remember waking up this day (Thursday, April 29th) and being a bit sad because we had only 2 more days... But that didn't stop me from getting up and getting ready to go!! Today we were going to park hop a bit and we had a yummy lunch date too!!! I skipped breakfast because we were going to DHS and I wanted to get something at Starring Rolls. The kids ate cereal and we headed out before my parents. We were planning on meeting them for Beauty and the Beast!
We had a mission of getting somewhere at Rope Drop, can anyone guess???? TSMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got there about 9:15 or so, later than we wanted but not too bad. We only waited about 15 minutes!

I rode with Helen, she could barely reach but she seemed really happy!!

Then we said good-bye to Pixar Place!

We ran down Sunset Blvd. to get FP's for Cory and I for Rock n' Rollercoaster and then we stopped in at Starring Rolls and I got a YUMMY apple turnover! It was HUGE as was all the breakfast items in that place!! I think I would have loved anything they had in there!!! Cory had some with me and some water and then it was time for PLAYHOUSE DISNEY!!!

The kids had a great time seeing the show! It was fun because they know all those shows so well! I laughed at all the parents (including us) who knew just as many words to the songs as the kids did! It was a great little show and I am glad we all got to see it!! Now I remember we met up with my parents at this point and we went to see Beauty and the Beast! My mom and I LOVE this show and were so glad to be able to see it! The kids liked it and Helen sat watching it the whole time! She didn't move!

Cory and rode RnRC quick with our FP's and then we split off from my parents. We all headed out for our separate lunch "dates"! Quick family picture on the way out!

My DH loves that Mr. Potato Head shirt too (Don't make me put on my angry eyes)... I think I'm going to try to find it for him when I go down in Sept/Oct.
