"Mom, this is like a whole new Disney!" New 7/30 - pg 43 - Final Thoughts & PTR Link

Departure day.....:sad2:

So glad Zach's red puffle was found!!! :thumbsup2

 Too funny about the raffle on the plane and the singing flight attendant! Sounds like an interesting flight!:rotfl:

Southwest raffle :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sorry about the puffle drama, but thankfully it had a happy ending.

In related 2011 news.......I ordered Liam's Disney ticket today!!!!! Nothing like spending over $500 bucks on something that you can't use for another 7 months, but I did save enough money to be worth it! When I told DH that I had ordered he said it was official....we have to go to Disney!

Yay for park tickets!!:banana: Did you get it through undercover tourist?

Departure day is always a sad one!

Thank goodness the red Puffle was found! Connor has Baseball Bear, and I don't know what we would do if he ever lost it! It just doesn't bear thinking about!

The Southwest Raffle! How nice if that had been real!

Heidi, I have to ask -- why was Liam's ticket $500???

Lovies are so important!! For the most part Zach is attached to his blankie - but we have three or four of them! The puffle is one of a kind. ;)

I can answer your question to Heidi - She buys 10 day non-expiring, park hopper, water park & more tickets so she can use them for more than one trip, plus have 10 waterpark visits that last forever. :thumbsup2

Oh I just hate departure day! :sad2:

Thanks so much for sharing your Disney adventure with us Amy! I really enjoyed it. :goodvibes

I'm so happy to share! :goodvibes It's a nice way to keep the trip alive longer.

That is so funny about the raffle ticket.

oh man, a lost puffle. I know all too well about losing treasured items. Glad you were able to find the puffle and get home safely.

It would have been a long flight home without the puffle! :sad2:

Departure day.....:sad2:

So glad Zach's red puffle was found!!! :thumbsup2

 Too funny about the raffle on the plane and the singing flight attendant! Sounds like an interesting flight!:rotfl:

It was a pretty entertaining flight! They said the raffle ticket had something to do with another flight attendant's birthday or something silly like that! We all totally fell for it!

Glad the Red Puffle was located!!!
Thanks for sharing your trip Amy! I loved reading it!!! I hope you will be writing one for your fall trip too!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Thanks for reading along!! I still have one more post before I put this thing to bed. Yes - I hope to start a PTR for both upcoming trips later this week & I'll do some sort of TR after my fall trip. I'll probably write it pretty quickly since the holidays will be sneaking up on us right after that. :thumbsup2

Can we ever leave w/out a bit of drama

Yikes glad the puffle was found....and your flight after that was mostly uneventful....

looking forward to your re-cap and all of the upcoming planning, etc w/ the next two trips...I think I might get one of my own trips in there between you

(JK)

Yes - Tomorrow is 2 months until my fall trip!! And Sunday will be 60 days... So I'm aiming to start my PTR tomorrow, but if that doesn't happen, it should be Sunday. :goodvibes

All this talk of the RED puffle and other lovies has got me worried that Liam's best bedtime pal is from SeaWorld! I really should have picked up another one at the airport when I was there in Oct.

I love your flight attendant! What a riot.

Oh the drama of a lost puffle, what a relief that it was found.

In some ways it can be good if departure day is that early, you don't have to spend all day waiting to rip off the band-aid....

im only on page 33 and am trying to catch up. we loved boma. and i sat on the bridge on the 3rd floor while we waited. the kids watched TV. When you were watching sergio, the sky writer was writing 'go to jesus' and another one saying 'go to god'. When we went to animal kingdom sometime in june. they were doing that. we made a joke when it said 'go to' and we said go to seaworld. it was pretty funny.

Departure day is depressing :sad2:
So glad the puffle was found.
Southwest raffle :rotfl:

It was sad for the kids... and maybe Nancy, but Tim & I were ready to get home. And yes - we were all happy the puffle was found!

Zach lost his favorite blankie when he was a baby... that's when we bought four of them!

Can you find another one of Liam's lovies online? I'd be happy to look at the airport in Sept/Oct if you want to send me a picture.

The flight attendant was hillarious! The puffle definitely added some drama to the day! :rolleyes1

We generally travel early with the kids - it's nice to get home mid-afternoon/early evening, especially on a Sunday.

I guess that sky writer has a full-time job flying over Disney!

Don't feel bad... I'm always falling behind on TRs...

This was another wonderful Disney vacation! We had a ton of fun visiting with Jeff, Karen & the kids prior to the Disney week.

The visit from Jeff, Karen & the kids wasn’t as much fun… We also had Nancy along with us for the Disney week. For the most part, it was nice to have Nancy along, but with everyone it was just too much and we are really hoping to be able to have our visit with Jeff prior to Disney then spend 7 nights in Orlando… alone!

This trip involved a lot of new things for everyone – especially Zach! This was his fourth trip and he still had so much to see:

• Making masks in Epcot WS
• Illuminations
• ToT – rode back in 2006 but I still consider this a first!
• RnRC – finally tall enough!
• Primeval Whirl – finally tall enough!
• Splash Mtn.
• Space Mtn.
• Sergio in Italy
• Boma
• Donald’s Mexican Boat Ride
• TSI*
• HoP*
• Mickey’s Philharmagic*
• Laugh Floor*

*All on the last day

Now that we have old favorites and new favorites to visit, my challenge will be to find new things we can add to our trip next time!

I think we are in agreement that we will stay off-site again in February/March. The biggest problem with off-site in the past has been the drive to the parks, but Sheraton Vistana was so close it was a non-issue! We loved the resort! The condo itself was great & the amenities were amazing.

Thank you to everyone who read along... posters & lurkers! If you've been lurking, I hope you'll say hello now that this is coming to an end. :goodvibes I really appreciate everyone's comments along the way & hope you'll follow along on my next adventures.

I hope to start my PTR tomorrow. I'll post a link here.

Not sure what else to say… Questions? Comments?

I am really glad you have a girls weekend coming up, you deserve it after all the planning and juggling and rearranging for so many people! That can be just exhausting and I can only imagine how much fun you guys are going to have at the Boardwalk!

The verdict for Feb is just the 4 of you, right? I have a feeling that will make if a very different trip and i know for me, the difference in the kids in just 6 months can make it feel like a new trip, even when you think they are a bit jaded.

Just pack extra puffles :goodvibes

Looking forward to the PTR!

Sorry ladies... looks like the website where I purchased them doesn't exist! :headache: It was roobygear.com or you could get them through amazon. Not sure if you searched hard enough you might find one somewhere else... :confused3

Here's the thread where I originally read about it: click here

You can go to www.westcoastlanyard.com as they sell them. I am not affiliated with this website\company, nor did I ever order from them, but just know they sell these type of supplies. Hope that helps. ;)

Yes, I got a comment. Thanks Amy for wonderful TR. I enjoyed it very much. The pictures are great! It really is like a whole new Disney...isn't it. :thumbsup2

Very good final thoughts, Amy!!! You did a lot of new things on this trip, but if you are like us, you will always find more things you have never done every time you go! Thanks for sharing your trip with us, and you know you will see me over on your PTR! :thumbsup2
