I think you just gave me an idea for a new rating system! Alcoholic Disney Beverages!! :rotfl2: Actually I'd be hard pressed to come up with a Disney drink that I haven't liked! :lmao:

Yeah, I am one that loves the dining plan. Love to have it pre-paid and to be able to eat whatever we want. My vote is definitely to do it one day!

I love that idea1 For me the dislike was definitely the Rosa Regale! I was so excited to try it after reading so much about it here on the Dis. I could just barely finish it. Not for me. :(

Oops used the wrong acronym! I agree we love the dining plan too! I meant to say, I want to try the DxDp one day!

Yay!!! Doing the happy single digit dance with you!! :dance3:

How exciting that you actually leave on Saturday for your pre-WDW portion of your trip. ;):thumbsup2

When I looked at your ADR changes (Plaza Restaurant & Crystal Palace) I quickly compared it to our schedule and darn - no matches! Although we will be in MK the same day as you on the 25th when you have lunch at the Plaza. (We have lunch at LTT.) That is also the day that we go to a water park in the afternoon. We may run into you..... :rolleyes1

Looking forward to countdown day #8!!!

'k so you can get me an Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake to go (minus the ice cream of course) and I will meet ya somewhere to take it off your hands! :rotfl:

If it were up to me, I would pick LTT for the pot roast and dessert but neither DH or DS really like it there. In fact, DS states that he hates it. So no Ooey Gooey cake for me! :(

You know that can be arranged!!! :rotfl2: Just leave room for dessert!! Since they removed my favorite sandwich from the menu and changed the fried cheese I'm a bit unsure of LTT.... but I'll give it a try and if I have to only eat dessert - oh well. :confused3

8 days! I think another beverage is in order ... the avocado margarita from La Hacienda! :lovestruc  I really cannot wait to have one of these!

Yeah, that is why I am not pushing to eat there. Don't like the changes .... but I am envious that you will have dessert!

Love, love, love your rating system!!

Woo-hoo for single digits!!

Thank you, thank you! :goodvibes

Mmmm Avocado Margarita :cloud9:
Can't wait to get my hands of one of those babies again :thumbsup2

Those avocado margaritas keep popping up in everyone's reviews so they must be good! I'm feeling really left out so I'm going to have to try one!

We are getting closer..... still doing the single digit dance with you!! :woohoo:

One more week! Thought I would go back to Disneyland today and post what is truly both mine and DS's favorite Disney dessert ... the bread pudding at Ralph Brennans. This was warmy, chocolately, deliciousness in a bowl described as

Double Chocolate Bread Pudding
A rich, dark, semi sweet chocolate bread pudding served with white and dark chocolate gananche

So good we had it twice on our trip!

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for posting this one. We're going to Disneyland for the first time in a couple of weeks and now I know what I'm getting at Ralph Brennan's. (Any other recommendations?)

RB's was probably our favorite meal in DLR! Here's my review from that trip:

DS started with the Gumbo Ya-Ya (Chicken, andouille sausage, dark roux, Creole seasoning, rice)

img_1276.jpg

I had the Creole Onion Soup (Caramelized sweet onions, savory broth, croutons, Parmesan cheese)

img_1275.jpg

Oh my gosh, this may be my favorite soup that I have ever eaten. Truly loved every drop of this soup.

DH had the three course dinner that they offered so his choice was the soup of the day. It was a seafood gumbo that I didn't take a picture of because it looked just like DS's regular gumbo.

For entrees, I had an appetizer - the Filet Mignon Muffuletta (Thin filet mignon, rosemary ciabatta bread, hothouse tomatoes, olive salad, provolone cheese)

img_1279.jpg

with a side order of the fried green tomatoes -

The muffuletta was not at all what I expected but it was truly delicious as were the tomatos. I was very happy with my dinner choice.

DS had Grilled Chicken & Penne (Pancetta, caramelized onions, basil, Asiago cheese, pink vodka sauce)

img_1282.jpg

DH had the Amazing Cajun Meatloaf with Southern grits, barbeque baked red beans

img_1281.jpg

I didn't sample DS's pasta but DH's meatloaf was very, very good. We all really enjoyed our meals here.

I would love to go back there!
