"mom, really? Disney in December again?" PTR** link to TR last page**

So yesterday I called Disney and reserved the Sleigh Ride at FW :yay: and I got it for Dec 8 @ 8pm which is when Wishes is scheduled for :woohoo:

Now if you read my TR from last year you will know that me and the girls had this scheduled for our last night at Disney but unfortunately that was a very rainy day and it got canceled (by Disney not me)
I was very sad that it was canceled  since I had been really looking forward to it for the whole trip. Since this will probably be the last time we are going at Christmas for a while I really hope it doesn't get canceled again on us

My fingers are crossed that we have BEAUTIFUL weather the week we are there!!! :cutie:

I am so nervous about the December weather. Being from PA it has to be better in Disney then here, but I am hoping my kiddos at least get to visit the pool a day or 2.

Hi! Catching up on my subs today! I got all caught up with your PTR. I LOOOOOVE the spreadsheet!!!! I used to have literally 25 different folders at work with spreadsheets in them. :lmao: I was very disappointed when I purchased my new laptop because it doesn't have Excel & the Microsoft Works Spreadsheet program just isn't as good. I hate not having all the features that Excel had. I could probably talk to you about spreadsheets for hours...lol...some people might think we're crazy though if we do that!

I was very impressed by your daily spreadsheet & all of the dining options look great!!! You have alot of really great things planned! I cannot wait until you get back in December & we can all see your pictures! I think I picked up a brochure at our resort last week about the Pirates & Pals Cruise. I will try to find it (its in my HUGE mess of stuff somewhere...still unpacking! lol). If I'm able to find it, I'll give you any info I can from it. It looked really neat but my son is just too young right now to try to plan anything like that. I have lots of great ideas for future trips though, thanks to reading everyone's planning reports! ;)

As far as worrying about the weather, I really wouldn't! We just got back from 10 days at Disney & every evening we'd watch the local news/weather & it would show scattered tstorms or rain for EVERY day. It rained literally for less than 10 minutes one day (and it was the day it said 30% chance of rain...lol). We had absolutely gorgeous weather, despite the weather forecasts! Now, being back in PA, today it showed rain on our local weather station & yes it has been raining all day long! Boy do I miss Florida's weather right about now! :sad1: Florida amazes me because it can be raining at MK and not at AK. Or half the sky will be gray/cloudy and the other half will be bright blue/sunny! Gotta love it!!! Anyway, I will be hoping for excellent weather for your December trip so that none of your plans are ruined for your trip!!! :goodvibes

Last year the weather was perfect all except that one day which was our last day. I don't mind rain I just really want to go on the sleigh ride

We are from Canada and we swam quite a few days last December. Don't forget the pools are heated :cool1:

Welcome Back Hope!!!! I see you started a TR so I'm gonna hop right over and check that out right after I make dinner :confused3

I can't wait to hear all about your trip!!!!

What part of PA are you from?? We live in Philly! :goodvibes I will say when we were there in Dec 2008. The weather was much warmer then what it was in Philly! :rotfl: It was anywhere from the low 70's to the mid 80's. Some mornings you needed a sweatshirt and at night it did get a bit chilly. One evening walking around DTD we even needed to wear gloves!!! :scared1: I can't wait for our trip to get here!

Ya being from Canada I can guarantee it will be warm in Florida compared to what I am used to here. I am scared to go in the summer for fear that I will melt:lmao:

Joining in late!! You are going at a very magical time! Excited to followed along!!

We went last June for a week and with the humidity it was 100 + degrees every day! We took swim breaks most days and thought that we were going to melt as well. We lucked out and only had a sprinkle the last night that we were there. No storms whatsoever!!

I am looking forward to December!!!

Today was my Godson Noah's Baptism so I thought I would share some pictures

The Deacon gets all the kids to come help him with the blessing of the water which I thought was really cute

It was a really nice day!!!

Tomorrow I am off to Buffalo to go shopping and my first time eating at the Cheesecake Factory... I can't wait!!!!

Aww I love baptisms-- and communions and the like! I come from a very large Catholic family, and used to attend many of both each year (not to mention confirmations...and weddings...). Now everyone's getting older!
Ooo, have fun at the Cheesecake Factory!! My fav entree is the Crusted Chicken Romano-- soo yummy! The best dessert, IMHO, isn't even cheesecake. It's the Godivo Brownie Sundae-- so delicious!

I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was sooooo good. Didn't have room for dessert so I brought home a whole cheesecake :rotfl:

Sorry I haven't done any updating lately, but I haven't really done anything new for the trip.

This past weekend was the G20 summit in Toronto and let me tell you I have never been more ashamed to live here. The riots and violence that took place was disgusting. Peaceful protest is fine but when hundreds of people show up to do nothing but destroy property and wreak havoc it is disgusting. I have never seen so many police in one place in my life. It was very sad to watch on TV all weekend and I am very glad that it's over

So today is Canada Day here in Canada and the kids and I will be off to a park somewhere to eat really bad food, watch some performers and catch the fireworks.

Yesterday I was reading a TR and my mom was looking and asked what I was looking at, it just happened to be pics of dinner at 'Ohana. She was interested in all the food she saw and asked "where have a reservation there don't we?"

I told her we have a breakfast reservation there and the sad little look on her face  so I asked her if she would like me to try to get a dinner ADR there and she said sure if I can :confused3

So I go on the Disney site and the only night I can fit it in is our arrival night and the only time available is 9:30pm :headache:

Now I have read on here the kids activities stop at 9:30 so I am going to try everyday to get an earlier ADR. Wishes that night is at 10 so it might be nice to see it from 'Ohana. Has anyone eaten there that late? if so what is it like?

Happy Canada Day!!! I'm working today because I'm taking all next week off.

I haven't had dinner at 'Ohana, only breakfast, but I love the idea of seeing Wishes. Good thing it's tons of food if you're arriving hungry!

Happy Canada Day to you too!!! I almost wish I was working today, I hurt my foot last night and now the kids want me to go walk around at all the Canada Day festivities Here in Brampton. I don't know if my foot will make it

We have a breakfast scheduled too so I guess I will find out what both meals are like.... Is it December yet?

We had a 9:45 reservation at Ohana. They did have a parade for the kids, and the ukelele woman walked around and sang. It was a really fun atmosphere! They piped in the Wishes music. A pole partially blocked my view, but I could still see and it was really nice sitting inside to watch it!

Ya I almost don't even care who the narrator is. I like my plans the way they are and if I had to rework my schedule for a certain narrator I would be pissed. Never mind that I will have all my ADR's made so I really couldn't change my Epcot day now

So frustrating
i kow the feeling- i am not going to change my narrator day either.....unless it is absolutely necessary. i have everything worked out on my schedule and like it how it is. right now, i have it for 12/8, which i think is Jodi Benson and i am fine with that. Just hoping to get Le Celler for the package. I have it booked already for another night just in case we don't though.

Hey there Natalie- i've been MIA for a while from you PTR- but am back! Congratulations on your graduation- i know it is a big accomplishment to do while raising 3 kiddos! amazing!

LOVE your ADRs- we are at Le cellier possibly on 12/10 at 7:30. at least i booked an ADR there, but we might try and do LC for the CLP package on that Wednesday instead. So it might change. but if not, we might see you there!:rotfl:

Love your tote bag and your countdown chains/calendar too- so cool!! i might do a countdown for DS when we get a month out. He is 2.5, so he doesn't understand the concept of time and waiting just yet!

Oh that's good news I heard they stop the fun kid stuff at 9:30 which made me sad. I wish the ADR was for 8:30 or 9 but AI can keep trying and if I can't get an earlier one than I'm still happy.. Thanks :thumbsup2

the 10th is when I want to do CLP and I think if I can't get Le Cellier then I will try for a lunch at one of the others and pay OOP for it and do the first show and still make LeCellier for dinner

Welcome back and Thanks... Grad felt GREAT!!!

My kids are older and love ripping down the chain!!!
