So you made a square on the cricut and then cut out the Mickey head and then laminated it? Sweet, my BFF has a cricut! And, yes that is a new ticker. We went to Hawaii in 2007 with my parents, no children, and my DH was bitten by a shark on our 3rd day there. So, we are planning on trying it again next year with them. (they go every year) Although, now my mom is telling my sister that she is concerned they're not going to be able to afford airfare this year. They usually use points from their credit card to get a free ticket and the points system has now changed and they're not sure that they're going to get a free ticket. Anyway, if we don't go it will be o.k. We don't have any strong ties there, just half of my DH's calf.I went back and looked at the pic.... although it does look like metal, its just the laminate. I cut it out on my Cricut machine.... then I wrote my name on.... then I laminated it ... then cut the laminate down so it was more mickey shaped, instead of square. I got the LGMH from home depot... but they were really thin once separated from the backing paper. I wanted something a little sturdier...so I used cardstock. It was a little lighter green than the HD alien green...but only by a 1/2 shade or so. I liked how they came out. They're pretty sturdy too, hopefully it won't snap off the little keyring hickey I found in the junk drawer. It was so pretty with the beads I had to use it... even though I have no idea where it came from![]()
BTW... is that a new Hawaii ticker????? Didn't remember seeing it before, how exciting!!!
I think I have MORE cause for alarm now that DH is in chargeI'll have to make a color coded spread sheet to get him to comprehend where everyone needs to be and when and for how long.... because of course it all overlaps
Hubbys have NO CLUE what excellent time management we Moms have!!!!

And it would mean that we could spend more days at Disney. So you made a square on the cricut and then cut out the Mickey head and then laminated it? Sweet, my BFF has a cricut! I figured that since my trips are coming so much more often... it'll get alot of use!!
wow I would love to go alone. I am going with my DD (22) at the beginning of November but I would love to walk around all by myself and do what I want instead of worrying about what everyone else wants. Maybe next time!!!!![]()

WOW One week to go. You are going to have so much fun. I've done the MNSSHP solo and it is still fun. Love the PTR can't wait to hear how the trip turns out
I just can't decide what I want to do. I'm probably going to go sans the tshirt or the costume and just blend in with the background!!!Actually I have a Mickey and friends cartridge for my Cricut. So I was able to cut mickeys head with it.... the laminate squares are... well square!! so I trimmed that part down. I luv my Mickey Cricut.... I saw it as an "investment" hahaha!!!I figured that since my trips are coming so much more often... it'll get alot of use!!
I can't believe that your DH is willing to go back after the shark attack!!! That would turn me off Hawaii for sure!! I haven't been there yet. DH and I's 15th wedding anniversary is about 15 months away, so we have been doing some preliminary trip planning. We were narrowed down to Alaska and Hawaii.... neither of us has been to either. Alaska won. We figured that with the climate changes... the glaciers will melt before Hawaii sinks![]()
However, nothing is booked or set in stone yet![]()

) I forgot that you made other tags besides the Mickey head one. My BFF doesn't have the Disney cartridge so I'll have to come up with something else. I'll have to pull out my creative side of my brain.

If I didn't know him so well, I'd think he was sipping something stronger than that Coca-Cola!!!
yep thats my costume. I ran out of time and gave up on making a shirt. but this on is cute... and was on sale at 50% off
Have fun getting ready!!
The only Tarzan Character I've ever seen in the parks was Turk (outside AK).
I was really excited to hear that they are at the party!!![]()
I saw on a TR today pics og Megera (from hercules)!! It was in Epcot. I was excited aboutthat too, i didn't think ANY of the hercules characters were in any of the parks. It was the first time I've heard of anybody seeing her. It was funny, cause they didn't know who she even was til she signed thier autograph book!!
We've gone enough to see all the "usual" characters. We get excited about the odd ones now![]()

I so 2nd that & remember....NO GUILT! When will you EVER have a chance like this again. It hurts my DDs feelings a bit when I say going by myself was my favorite Disney trip. but, one day, I hope she gets to experience ia solo trip for herself. Any more ideas of where you are going to go eat?
Hi! I just wanted to check in to say have an amazing, relaxing, guilt-free, fantastic, AWESOME time! I can't wait to compare notes with you when we both get back!![]()
I'm feeling the love!!!!!
so the info now seems pretty funny! I also got my Adventures by Disney brochures for 2009... wholly smokes did the prices go UP!!! I'd love to do one of them, I always get the new brochures so I can dream, and hope for a pin code for WDW!!!
Fall is my favorite time of the year. The leaves usually aren't turned so much yet, but we had 2 weeks of really cold (frost even) temps and rain... so I guess the trees are confused
and changed early. I'm looking forward to a really pretty drive to Pittsburgh tomarrow
