What a wonderful trip report! Isn't it wonderful when our Mom's are able to travel & enjoy time with us! I love when my mom visits and we go to the parks - she is 82 - but I know I would never get her on EE - I won't even go on it!!!

I could NOT wait to get home to check out if I made it in your trippie! Even my husband (totally NOT a Disser, although this past trip gave a new "appreciation" for all things Dissy) was excited to see his picture posted along with HIS backscratcher (I was downing pina coladas!). I meant every word when I said how meeting YOU made my trip so special! I was just beaming the whole rest of that night thinking how AMAZING it was that I had got to know you just the tiniest little bit from the boards - enough to know that you would be someone I would love to meet and would like instantly. In addition to how hilarious you seem to be it is obvious by the way that other people responded to your posts (I was just the OP of the Focking Thread - Glenda ran away with it y'all and took it to another level!) that you were the goods! It also seemed to verify for me that all the time I spent these last few months on these crazy boards was actually pretty important time (which was further proved by the AWESOME trip we just had!! Thank you to all of you!!!). I still cannot quite get my head around the fact that out of the hundreds of thousands of us (??) Dissers, from all over, with all these threads posted, that my family would be sat RIGHT NEXT TO, at our first night' ADR, to Glenda Max and her sweet Mother's table on their last ADR!!??? I mean seriously... doesn't that blow everyone's MINDS???

Looking forward to planning the next trip right along with you Glenda!

Oh boy you hit the nail on the head when you commented about being back in the real non-Disney world!!! I felt the same way taking that walk of shame back to the bus too!!! & Ours was a Mears as well, not even a cute ME bus. I really felt like you did..that the vacation was over!

Hey Gmax--just a tip for next time you fly. If you fly Airtran, when you check in ask if you can upgrade to business class. If it's available they will let you do it for $35.00 per flight per person. So $70.00 from BWI to ATL to MCO.

We did that on our trip in May and got it confirmed roundtrip. It was well worth the money. We never even saw the coach seats on Airtran.

Loved the trip report. Sorry it's over. Just as I'm sorry our trip is over.

I like your tip about not killing yourself on your last day. We never learn that lesson. We were at the MK on our last morning to get our photo cd. Then we drove to Universal's City Walk (shh. don't tell anyone we left DW) just to get Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts that DH and I collect and then to Fresh Produce for shirts for me. I love that place! Then we drove to MGM to have lunch and ride ToT 1 more time before gasing up the car and heading to the airport. The day just flew by!

I enjoyed reading about our co-inciding trips! When you would say "It was HOT", I knew because I was there!

Meeting you and your mom and the other "tiara's" at the tea was a highlight of my trip! I can still hear you laughing as if it JUST happened!

I agree on the Disney sizing! A CM told me an XL would fit because it stretched. I told her, "But if it stretches, it'll CLING!" I like your "rolls and sins" better!

Oh, my, it's time for bed.

First I want to thank all of you all for taking the time to read and respond to my report. I am honored by those of you who met me and are glad you did LisaDKG, glad you had a GREAT trip, and that I was seated next to you on our last night there. I can't wait to hear more about your trip!

Today, my Mother came over for a visit. I made sure that she saw the report, and your responses. She says "hello" to all of you, and thanks you for all of your comments!

My Mother told me that she wanted to thank me for all of my planning for this trip. She felt as if the whole trip was catered to her, and she loved it. In light of the fact that she knew that I felt that she was not excited about the trip in the months leading up to it, and that she had such a great time, she wanted to do something special for me. She wanted to wait until Christmas, but felt that it would not have the same impact. She handed me a box, and in it was a miniature Royal Dalton tea set with the Old Country Roses Pattern on it. The same china from the tea with "The Tiaras".

I placed the light bulb behind them to give you a better idea of the scale of the set.

I think it is just lovely! I was shocked. It really felt like Christmas! I'm officially an Old Lady with "nick-knacks" in her home!

It was great that my Mother trully appreciated the trip and the planning, and let me know. She said that everytime I look at this set, she wants it to remind me of our trip to Disney World, and how much she enjoyed it.

Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll have more photos from the trip to share!

After reading this whole report, I had to double check afew things so it took me some time, but thank you for making me find out what "getting focked" meant LOL

I also saw they have upwards of 4X at "World of Disney" WOW! I have to get me a shirt! I couldn't find any decent 2X at Disney (their shirts always seem SO small compared to others) so ty for this too Glendamax! I hope to meet people like you did when we go, thanks for the tips too!

Wow - how sweet of your mom! What a great surprise! I loved reading your TR and thought it was so great that you and your mom went together. My mom took me every year when I was younger and some day I hope to take her - a surprise gift trip would be awesome, but...guess I'll just keep playin' the lottery!!

I agree about the T-shirts too........What a booming business you would have if you sold Womens Plus Size T-shirts,,,,My observation at the parks was that , along with myself,,,you would have a BIG customer following!!!!
