Her Grandfather did ask how we were able to afford the trip. He said that he did not understand how we were able to afford to come to Disney World. I said, "We'll if you work all year and save your money, it isn't a problem". He still looked a bit confused. I do forget that some people do not realize that we travel too.

So how 'bout that? Still alive and kicking .

Well first of all, a big to your mom for riding EE with you! Wow, what a trouper she turned out to be! I love that you went for the tea, and I got to see pictures of some other DISers. Thank you so much for sharing all this with us, and for your excellent narratives and most of all ... the very insightful Lessons Learned. Looking forward to the rest; I don't want your trip to end! Oh and I almost forgot ... I read these boards faithfully, but what in the world is a "fock"?

I am so proud of you and your mom riding EE! I would love to see the photo! I love your "Lessons Learned". With that in mind, I haven't bought ponchos for my family yet. What would you suggest? I saw the 2 pack at a Dollar Tree, and they had a yellow one in it. Maybe I should pass.

Keep it coming! I am enjoying every minute. I am a TR Addict - there I have said it. I am reading yours, UtahMama's, Eeyore Tiara's, and Princess V's all at the same time.

We leave in 19 days, so I have got a lot to learn in such a little bit of time.

I agree with you on spending a little more on the Deluxe resorts because of the breaks you take. Worth every $$$$

A fock is the hand signal that was make in the movie with Robert Dinero. You know where he points at Ben Stiller, then points to his eyes to say "I am watching you." Check out this thread for more info (and A LOT of laughs!).

Day 4 Continued- The Evening

2. Consider booking a Deluxe. It would not be a total waste of money since I take breaks now.

We lovelovelove the Wilderness Lodge. I've tried to interest my family in staying elsewhere and they've refused. I definitely think you should try a deluxe. Didn't your mother say something about starting to save for the next trip when you were on the boat from the WL? Strike while the iron is hot!

I loving reading your report!!! Last summer 2005... I went to WDW on a "Mother- Daughter Trip" with my dd9 and myself ...We had the best time ever! Hopefully we'll continue to be able to keep going as we grow older together. Thanks for the great trip report! Your pics are great and it looks like you and your Mom made great travelling partners. You picked a great week to escape from Baltimore - the sun was missing most of the week.

Looking forward to seeing any more pics. When you first posted the pic of the road with the Walt Disney World sign over it, I teared up - just thinking, what it's going to be like for us when we see it in November and I show it to the boys (we're here! we're here!). We're driving down and that will definitely be the highlight of the drive.

I REALLY want to thank you all for your responses. I'm sure it has seemed as if I've been on the boards because my little "green light" is on, but I havent. I've been on photobucket trying to upload my photos, and stick them in the report. For some reason, the site is REALLY slow, so I've been writing the report while waiting for the photos, then sticking them in. Tonite will be my first time to really hang out here and see what I've been missing! I havent had a chance to read anything yet. Can't wait to see what my fellow "Tiaras" are writing about! So please don't think I've ignored you . . . I've been hard at work on my DISthesis Also, I did not mention that I have the Post-Disney cold/sleep sickness. So when I'm not trying to get the photos on here, I'm sleep, staring into space, or whining . . .

By the sound of her voice, my Mother still has the Disney glow! She called today and said that she stood on the corner, but no Disney bus came by to take her to a park! And, she still mentions "next year". My Mother is still so tickled about the tea. OH! I neglected to tell you that my Aunts are big "High Tea" fans. They go to tea houses here in Baltimore. And one of them even throws Teas at her house - yes, tiny sandwiches included!

OH! and I forgot to mention that one morning as my Mother and I were leaving the room, we saw that "Scrap4You" had left a Mickey on the door knob of the room! You would have thought it was Christmas! I almost started to cry (see I told you this was a cult). I added her Mickey to my window display!

OK - so now I'm going to try to catch up what you all have posted, and read other trip reports! I am taking the rest of the day off! No more uploading pix!

Thanks! My Mother REALLY enjoyed meeting you all, and others that we ran into at the parks! She said that she was going to try to get on the site last night. So we'll see . . . It would be funny to hear her side of things. But if she does sign on, does that mean I can't write naughty things anymore . . .

This is too surreal (and cool) but I had just read yesterday the TR from the young lady who met you and gave your the bracelets. She said she was excited to meet you (recognized you from the boards) and her little boy was shy and she didn't want to disturb you and your mom too much so they went back to their table. Now I'm wonderin who the "mystery Dis'er" was too!

I loved your last report and am enjoying this one too (great pics of you and your mom - did mom say anything after you retrieved your shoes?)

I can't wait to read her report! I was so glad when Princess V came over to our table!
And the shoes - my Mom didnt say anyting. I think she was overwhelmed by the show that she had forgotten!

By the way, Tiki Room Fan reported that she saw you and your mom one day when you were in AK, but they lost you in the crowd before they could say anything.

What a great time! What did your Mom think of Everest? I cant believe she went on!!! I cant believe you went on! I think we all need to see the picture they took of you. ( I think you might've encouraged me to do it- even with you clinically dead and all!)

My Mother thought it was a bit harsh, even though she had fun on it. She said that she would not do it again. I would like to ride it again, but because I discovered that i have motion sickness, I need to ride with someone who would "baby" me when we get off

Oh boy, my very first cameo on the DIS Trip Reports! Thanks Gmax! I'm so glad we met you guys, and I love that you wore the glowy bracelets that night. It's almost as if I was there with you... Here's what I love about 4 year olds: my DS was Mr. Shy-Don't-Want-to-Meet-Anyone that night, but kept asking "Where's Mommy's friends?" the next morning at breakfast.

Yes, I am proud that my Mother rode EE too! But you guys are going to make me get a part-time job, because now I have to buy a scanner so you all can see the ride photos!
Getting "Focked" is from the Meet the Fockers movie (the 2nd one), when DeNiro does the sign language for "I'm watching you". This is what MickeyGirl did to me in AK!
