Mom...am I supposed to have shoes on?? - August 2013 ***FINISHED 5/5***

I want to swim at Poly..... You are making Midori and me miss Disney so much. The picture of the castle is really neat. I like the water in front and the dark clouds in the back ground.:thumbsup2

Oh Suzi! What a great update! i can just imagine little guy going out and waving at the castle every night. oh that is just too sweet! ugh makes me enjoy the innocence of children even more. :lovestruc

ohh you can't stop now! Keep up with the updates!!!!!

But Rapunzel ran up to him and said "Bradey, can I have a hug to remember you by?? It might be a while before I see you again."

This just melts my heart.

Oh, how sweet. I love this picture. Good trick getting Bradey to see the princesses. You guys really make the most of your trip - enjoying the pool and the parks.

Bradey told her that we could see her castle from our balcony. She said she would go out on her balcony just before bed tonight and wave to him, so he better be out there waving to her too. It was so cute. He did just that almost every night before bed.
:goodvibes How sweet.

Great pictures with Mickey. I love that one of the castle you took, I'm not sure I have ever admired the castle from that location during the day.

Patiently waiting to see what happens after you leave Pecos Bills. popcorn::

Oh to be swimming at Disney right now! I have had the week from he**, and I sure could use some pixie dust! But oh.....I will be swimming in the FL sunshine in just 18 days!!! :beach: And going to my happy place...and going to a Disney water park for the first time... and shopping at DTD...and going to a chipmunk campfire and movie under the stars...:cool1: Our family definitely needs this vacation! :thumbsup2

Love Bradey and the princesses...and I REALLY love that he waved to Cindy every night before bed. I can totally see Gabe doing exactly the same thing. I just love that our little guys still believe in the magic!! :cloud9:

You are such a stinker for getting Sarah squirted on!!! LOVE IT! Such fun! :lmao:

What a wonderful update, Suzi.

I love that pool at the Poly...so much fun.

I made Mark do the princesses this year and I know they have to stay in character. But we found Rapunzel to be the most fun and we had a great time with her. You can see that she had an affection for Bradey. :)

The pictures with Mickey are great too!

I'll be curious to hear what you think of Pecos Bills (we aren't avid fans like many are).

Suzi joining in on your fun ! Love the pic of Bradey and Rapunzel

oh my gosh how cute is the waving to the castle awe thats so precious!!! thanks for the warm welcome too! I got so excited because in your Tr somewhere u posted your age n you are the closest to my age so far so thats exciting!

I loved the update! It looks like Mickey was great. We had a really awesome rapunzel too.. And I love that Bradey waved to cinderella every night. He is just so cute. It does look like aurora scared him though, lol.

We love eating at pecos. Poor sara getting wet all the time, id prob fall for it too though. Lol

Uh oh... Who or what did u see?

D~

Yeah, Aurora scared me too. I remember a much nicer one that Dani and I met in Epcot last year. Wish we could've met her....now he doesn't ever want to watch Sleeping Beauty :sad2:

Pecos....coming up....

Great update...totally worth the wait! ;)

Bradey and the princesses are just precious! I have some really cute ones of Caden and the princessess from 2011. Most of them are so sweet to the little boys. Our best princess interaction was with Ariel at Akershus in Norway! :)

Too funny that you managed to get Sara wet! :lmao: Wayne won't stand still long enough...no way I could get him. However...I bet I can get one of the girls I am going with in February! :scratchin

Boys and princesses are fun. Can't wait to meet more next time. I do wish we had met Tink and friends though, he loves those movies right now...next time, maybe not so much.

I want to swim at Poly..... You are making Midori and me miss Disney so much. The picture of the castle is really neat. I like the water in front and the dark clouds in the back ground.:thumbsup2

Thanks Bob. I want to be back there too!

Oh Suzi! What a great update! i can just imagine little guy going out and waving at the castle every night. oh that is just too sweet! ugh makes me enjoy the innocence of children even more. :lovestruc

I'm glad we got to meet some of the "Girls". It was fun. I never would've waited in a long line for them, but I'm glad we caught them.

Pecos Bill update coming right up :thumbsup2

Oh oopsi...you guys need this so badly! I can't believe how quickly it seems to be coming up now! I am so excited that you get to go back after all the drama involved with this trip. It is going to be great!

Yeah, he believes in the magic. I just hope it lasts. I love taking him when he is like this....that trip last year without him was torture! I had fun, but it just isn't the same without little ones.

What a wonderful update, Suzi.

I love that pool at the Poly...so much fun.

Okay, so we were going into Pecos Bills for the first time. I had heard wonders about this fresh fixings bar they had. So I ordered Bradey a hamburger, Sara got a veggie burger and I ordered the taco salad. And I use the word "salad" very loosely.

After again waiting an eternity for the darn veggie burger...

I was so disappointed with the fixings bar. Okay, first the "salad"...they give you a nice crispy tortilla bowl (the bowl was very yummy) with a plop of seasoned beef on the bottom. Thats it. No lettuce. You are supposed to get your lettuce at the fixings bar. This lettuce is shredded, limp lettuce. And who puts the beef on the bottom??? How does that work? There were very few options for a salad. They had sauteed onions, but not fresh ones. Some olives and a cheese sauce. Just doesn't make a good salad. Maybe if I had tried a burger or sandwich??

Well anyway. I wasn't impressed. Sara wasn't impressed. Bradey, well Bradey will eat anything, so he was fine. But I won't rush to go back for sure.

As we were eating, the sky opened up. It had mostly let up by the end of the meal, so we bravely donned our ponchos and left. We walked out the AdventureLand side and as we were stepping out the door some visitors rudely cut us off and we had to wait for the little tour group to go past

Bradey thought that was so funny and yelled out "make way for ducklings!"

So we continued on our way to the Haunted Mansion. I think Bradey was pretty nervous, but Sara and I kept talking about how they were "happy haunts" and not scary ones. So he was game.

He did pretty well. You could tell he was nervous at times, but I think by the end he was enjoying it.

After we gave the hitchhiker a ride, we walked over through the new Tangled area to Fantasyland

We walked right on...come on everybody...sing it with me....

It's a small world after all...It's a small world after all...It's a small small world

Yep, and we saw the cuckoo clock strike when we loaded up and when we were walking out. Took 15 mins from start to finish.

And of course we piled up at the end. Always!

While on IASW, I was looking at FB and someone in the August group was saying that they were going to miss Jungle Cruise because it was closing. Oh my gosh...I had totally forgot about that. So where did we head next??

It was pouring again when we came out of IASW, so we put our handy dandy ponchos and headed on over to Jungle Cruise. There was a 20 min wait posted, but it was raining and we knew it would be our only chance, so we waited. The line moved very slowly...lots of FP peeps.

No pictures because we were still getting wet on board, so I didn't want to take out my camera (oops, I mean phone...sorry Mo). We didn't have a very good captain, but at least Sara got to ride it.

It was still drizzling pretty heavily, so we walked over to Tomorrowland in our ponchos and rode PeopleMover again. I just love this ride.

Bradey and Sara had this thing going all week with the PM. They would sit in the backwards side and he would peek over the back to see when a corner was coming, then giggle like crazy because Sara would get jerked all over as we turned. It was so simple, yet so funny to see. Every single corner they did this on. Cute.

He is looking over his shoulder in this one.

And she is "falling over" here

Sorry, I know the pics are dark, but you get the idea.

Such a great view from this ride at night.

After the PeopleMover, we walked over to grab a spot for the MSEP, but just as we were getting there, they called it off due to weather. See everyone getting up to leave?? Yep, us too.

So we rode the monorail back to the Poly. On our way downstairs and out the door, I stopped for this photo op in the GCH.

I think he was tired. I know I was. Off to bed.

Up next....Monday at Epcot and later my first DISmeet of the trip!

Can I just say that I love Bradey's facial expressions haha, and also i feel like i'm stalking your TR .What can I say I have no life wait yes I do Disney's my life LOL

Glad you got that ride on the Jungle Cruise in. That is a classic Disney ride.

Make way for ducklings!

My kids still refuse to go on Haunted Mansion but after skipping it the past two trips I might have to force them to ride this year. So three cheers to Bradey for being so brave. :)

Enjoying all your pictures, even if they are from a phone.

Suzi, a long way to go before we get to the princess update.

Well, I am glad that someone finally agrees with me about Pecos Bill's. When we went in 2008 for our 25th anniversary and my long time friend Shelley (26 year friendship) and her hubby Tom came with us, we ate there. She could NOT believe the taco salad and the tiny clump of meet. Our burgers were disgusting. The only thing I like there is the Onion Rings.

I'm glad Bradey was good with Haunted Mansion. Was that rain not crazy? I'm glad you got on Jungle Cruise before it closed. I could do Peoplemover over and over again.

Love the fun that Bradey and Sarah were having together.

I have never eaten at Pecos Bills...but based on your review I won't be trying it anytime soon! :confused3

Love the cute little ducklings...Quack...Quack....Quack!

I love the way you describe Bradey and his reactions to things. Such a cute little sense of humor with Sara and his antics on the People Mover! Just adorable! You are writing these memories down somewhere...right? Besides the DIS of course? LOL

Boo for MSEP being called off...but Bradey does look like he was tired!

I had heard how "wonderful" the taco salad was from people on the Dis, so I decided to try it last February. It was as horrid as you found it to be. I think it was the worst meal I had on that trip. :sad2:

See that Mo. Na na na na na *insert tongue sticking out smiley guy*

:sad2:

The only thing I like there is the Onion Rings

i'm seeing a pattern with you and onion ring...

So it's a small world?

Still convinced they come alive at night..

adorable story with the ducks!!! He is seriously too cute. I cannot wait to meet him!!!

LOVE the people mover.. such a fantastic concept!

Ok too tired to think anymore.. looking at pretty pictures.. Oh Wait THERE AREN'T ANY! :lmao:

HA, HA that Bradey caught on to the meet and greet princesses. Just love getting the "look" from the little ones when the jig is up. I have to say he was a good sport from the looks of those pics. What a little flirt he is with the ladies. Better watch out. Too cute that he waved at the castle every night. PRICELESS!!!

Sara and Bradey were too cute with the People Mover and riding backwards.

Looking forward to more of the TR!

LOL...exactly. Disney is our life. I live, breath, eat, dream Disney. It is killing me to not have a trip planned. But I think Mo is working on that :stir:

Glad you got that ride on the Jungle Cruise in. That is a classic Disney ride.

Thank you, yes, I am very glad I remember Jungle Cruise before it was too late. It wasn't a great ride, but at least we rode it.

And Bradey had no idea what Haunted Mansion was about before we rode. I think he would've been more nervous if I had told him it was full of ghosts and gouls. But he did great!

Suzi, a long way to go before we get to the princess update.

Yeah, I don't need to do Pecos Bills anytime in the near future. I might try it again sometime just order something different. But there are too many great places to eat there to go back to a mediocre one.

I agree....People Mover is one of my favorites. I could ride it over and over again...and I do. Thank goodness Bradey likes it too.

I have never eaten at Pecos Bills...but based on your review I won't be trying it anytime soon! :confused3

Well, do try Pecos for yourself sometime. Different people like different things and I have heard lots of people who love it. Just not me.

Bradey does have the best sense of humor. I just love that little man.

And yes, I keep a journal while at WDW. I try to write in it every night before crashing. Our first trip I didn't write anything until I got home and I couldn't believe how much I forgot. Won't make that mistake again!

I had heard how "wonderful" the taco salad was from people on the Dis, so I decided to try it last February. It was as horrid as you found it to be. I think it was the worst meal I had on that trip. :sad2:

Yeah, definitely rates as one of my worst of the trip. Bleh.

:sad2:

Can't see your picture. I assume it is from IASW. Well I love that ride....so classic.

Oh stop it...there are plenty of pictures!

Thanks. He isn't really a flirt. He is very shy (well except with D and her girls...he talked up a storm with them). But Rapunzel really softened him up. We just loved her!

Just caught up :goodvibes

What do you mean??? I have been going super slow! :thumbsup2 Kidding...take your time. I certainly am not up to date on all my TRs and PTRs I am following, but I will read them all eventually. No hurry :goodvibes
