Molokai Gram-Check in lady!!! We're worried...

I know that it's not a UO topic, but, Molokai is our resident Hawaiian around these parts and I do worry. You and the family okay? You're only supposed to visit Earthquake, not experience them.

I don't have any direct information on MG but today's earthquake hit the big island of Hawaii. She lives on Molokai and should have been unaffacted by the quake.

That said, yes, please check in anyway!

EDITED: I'd been out all day and hadn't seen any of the TV coverage on the quake. I'd only read a couple of Internet articles that seemed to indicate that the quake had hit the big island only. Little by little, I'm discovering that the entire chain was affected. My mistake, sorry.

my brother is in honolulu and just got power restored this morning.
he said some spots are still without but should have all restored soon.

hope your friend checks in soon to let you know all is fine.

Sorry I missed this. Yes, we were in Vegas and missed the earthquake entirely. Molokai did not lose power and damage was just tilted pictures on the wall.

Yesterday's Japanese earthquake did cause a tsunami like surge yesterday morning, but we were all safe and the only damage we know of is a friend's boat got swept on shore. Since we had warning, we were all careful and stayed back from the beach.

Hope I get to see some of you when I finally get back to Florida for a short visit.

If not, remember, Hawaii is always a great place to visit.
