I just got a new pair of Crocs ballet flats this weekend. I wore them to the store and they are giving me blisters around the backs of my feet, near the Achilles tendon, where that little bit of bone sticks out. Any suggestions?
I tried moleskin this morning (Im wearing the shoes right now at work). I put patches of moleskin directly on clean, dry skin, and its great, and then when I walk down the hall, it starts bunching up at the bottom and makes the hot spots hurt all over again. And it really smarts when I pull the bunched up moleskin off. (Ive tried 2 applications per foot, in case I put it on wrong or something.) Now, Ive put little patches on the shoes themselves not too helpful still rubbing. Dont know if itll peel off the shoes yet, havent tried it past sitting at my desk yet.
What other blister buster tricks do you DISers use?
ETA: Am I using the wrong kind of moleskin? I got Dr. Scholl's Moleskin plus padding. The only other option at Wal-Mart was Dr. Scholl's MoleFoam.
