I had a buyer all lined up for my 1996 Class C, and it all fell through when we discovered leakage from the front cabover window has ruined the floor of the cabover (about 1/2 of it). DH, being handy, has gone on a destructo mission and is ripping the floor of the cabover down to... well, whatever's going to be on the bottom
, and who knows about the sides. He's also stripped all the sealant out from the exterior of the window and recaulked it (and lots more).
My primary worry is that I have a mold allergy, and I can't stand to be out there in it with him even as he's ripping it up. Is there ANY hope that we'll ever be able to remove it all to the point that I'll be able to camp in it again? I'd prefer to sell it (the rest of it is in excellent shape), but I don't know what, if any resale value it will have with this huge repair job. I'm just so mad, this had to have happened over the winter when we stored it, and was hidden by the mattress up there...
Sigh.
