JanJan... regarding housekeeping no I did not work for Disney to do housekeeping.. I love the room so much.. this was trhe year when EPCOT was testing EARTH when it used to explode.. and you can see it from the room.... and in the morning.. since I was at 4th floor.. I have the table set outside for coffee and disposable coffee cups.. I had my own starbucks corner for mousekeping and I would tag along and helping them fold and stuff.. since I did not go to the park in the morning told yah am crazy!!!!

Just got to work this morning through flooded streets and torrential downpour. 5 inches of rain since 2am last night, and much more to come today thanks to Hanna. Looks like she'll be draping me with her western edge all the way up to Disney today, so should be a wet ride. 8 hours of work to go, then I'm on the road. Next time I talk to anyone from here, it'll be at WDW.

They've adjusted his projected path, making it more likely sweep acorss South/centraol Florida. Now, I still see this as good news for 3 Blondes. If he’s over south/central Florida on Wednesday morning, then Thursday will be a great day. =) The thing we risk is delayed flights since BFF flies in during the day on Wednesday and we fly in Wednesday evening.

Unfortunately, that's not so good news for people heading up to Disney and hoping to have a house to come home to in South Florida on Wednesday evening! Tough call for me - choosing between good weather for my Disney trip and a destroyed house, or untouched house and dealing with hurricane conditions at Disney.

I still vote for Door #3 - Ike goes even further south, slips between Florida & Cuba, fizzles out to a tropical storm over Cuba's mountains, then fails to reorganize over the gulf and just drifts over to the Texas coast as an innocent batch of rain. THAT sounds good to me!

Of course, if I got to choose where hurricanes went, I'd keep them away from homes & lives. I live minutes from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, so we've been caught in the middle of some pretty big storms. Hanna is scheduled to sweep over us tonight & tomorrow.

The good news is purely me being selfish about the timing of my vacation.
