Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

Sorry, guys, I have been busy the past week getting the brat's cyberschool stuff taken care of and finishing up some things for the trip.

TIMMY.....got a call from someone in your area code yesterday but the battery died on the phone just as I picked it up. YOU????? Funny coinidink BTW...do you know you live in the same town as the brat's cyber teacher. :rotfl: I had never heard of the town till you started calling.

KRISTINE.....I would think around a 1-2x judging by the one she was wearing last year. It seemed loose on her and she had a mature chest from what I remember:lmao:

PER THE SHIRT DESIGNS
----Dont worry I had the same issues with using the iron on transfers myself at first. I figured out by trial and error that the key was
*GET THE SHIRT NICE AND HOT(place your transfer-mark it with chalk about 1/2 inch away from the design and then iron the shirt), you can wipe off the chalk later with a rag..be careful not to get it under the design..it will be permanent--dont ask me how I know this. oh, and make sure there is no little strings or hairs, or fuzz where you are laying the design too---again, dont ask.
* PRESS HARD (REALLY HARD) ..I put mine on a pillowcase covered bookshelf on the floor to get my wieght behind it...and slightly beyond the time suggested.
*The other key thing was to let it cool almost completly and take your time when removing the transfer. If it wouldnt come off easily----re iron that spot and let cool again.
Hey, no big, if anyone feels creative enuf to print it out on paper and pin it on, go for it...you could even add some some regular glitter that way too.
We are gonna look so cute.:goodvibes

OH AND BEFORE I FORGET....Before posting any pics from the party online please dont forget to ask the subjects if it is ok with them. I personally would prefer to remain anonymous and I am sure there are others also who are a bit camera shy.

Wow I forgot just how much stress a family can put on you over a stupid wedding CRAP I keep telling Mike I told you we should have went to DISNEY to get MARRIED and now of course he agrees!!! Go figure!
Sorry they are causing you so much grief...
and I hate to tell ya' but its been my experience that it doesn't get much better after the wedding either! :sad2:

Kristine, the idea of the shirt was to cover up the Mickey spot when bleaching so the shirt would be lighter with a dark Mickey in the middle. It only worked right (sorta) on my DH's shirt. My instructions were for half bleach/half water. I wonder if full strength bleach would be a better suggestion. If you want to try it. I made a lovely Mickey pattern which works for an XL tshirt and can be sized down.

Better than something off the clearance rack you can't return.

If she does this to other relatives, than it's her problem. Nothing you can do about other people's eccentricities.

so true but I would have given up all the money just to have her there you know!

Everyone is telling me that I am over emotional lately (they are right) so I just have to take steps back and BREATH and not take things to heart and read into things cuz I don't want to hurt the people around me!

Oh Nancy please don't take this the wrong way but that is the small stuff. Save the aggrevation for the bigger things that will happen and believe me there will be some bigger stuff.

Ok now I will share a wedding story with you that will hopefully feel better. I had an aunt who asked me if I wanted her to bake cookies for my wedding. This aunt is a control freak and obsessive/compulsive so she must have her way. I told her no thank you we can get them inexpensively through our baker who is making the cake but feel that cake is enough. She argued with me but hung up realizing there was no way I would say I wanted cookies at my wedding. What did she do but bake a bunch of cookies anyway and then she was insulted when the banquet hall refused to allow her to serve them due to possible food poisoning. She was ticked and started an argument with the management at our reception. They finally agreed to have sign a waver that if anyone there got food poisoning it would be her fault and not the fault of the hall. She then went up to the DJ after our first dance to announce to everyone there what a great aunt she was that she baked all our cookies. Then before anyone ate the cookies she proceeded to bag them all up into gallon bags and hand them out to all her sisters, brothers, and my grandmother. So in the end nobody got to eat them but who she chose and she didn't bother to give us any other gift either. So essentially she disrupted my wedding, ate for free, and gave our gift away to her immediate family so they would praise her for them. She is and will forever be the crazy cookie lady to everyone who didn't know her at the wedding. It is now a funny story to pass down through the generations. Sadly, she has done worse.

Do you feel a little better now? ;)

Like I said before, everyone is telling me I am over emotional (sp. no sleep last night).

You'll be ok just take deep breaths and say "in with the good and out with the bad" while trying to think about happy things like Disney!!! lol Hey it works for me.

I am loving the crazy cookie lady story. :lmao:

The crazy cookie lady story is funny but in real life that aunt puts all the Disney villan's to shame. lol

Nancy,
I leave the house today at 3p. Just dropped the dogs off and am waiting time to pick up DS from school at 2:30.

We are sleeping in tomorrow and then going to MK with dinner at Ohana's. I am so excited and to think I was there less than 2 weeks ago and it feels like 2 years. I found the secret to slowing down time because I know the rest of the year will go by in what seems like a week. lol
