Okay Wic did you cook some of thoses eggs for us??? Hello I like my over easy please.

Timmy have a great night at work if I don't talk with you later.

Hi FF & Mom2Evie

Yep. Jersey people do not call it Six Flags. That's what the New Yawkers do. ;)

I was there in 93 when the Batman ride opened. It was Senior cut day.

The new roller coaster is called "Dark Knight", it's based on the recent Batman movie. They tore down the 'Batman & Robin, The Chiller' rollercoaster to put this in. The linear induction on the former ride was horribly rough, I never particularly enjoyed that one.

I had high expectations for the new coaster. Great Adventures sucks in customer service, shows, food, customer service, prices, crowd control, customer service, cleanliness. Did I mention that they have bad customer service? But their strength is they have great rollercoasters!!!

The Dark night is a coaster in the dark. Since it's brand new I thought it'd be fun. The queing is identical to RnR. You wait outside to be let into a "briefing" room, watch a video in the briefing room, then wait in another line until you get on the ride. The briefing room was pretty cool if a little on the scary side with 'haha' and 'why are you so serious' appearing on the walls in lights. The hallway was Subway themed and a little scary with monitors that had the words on them and joker smiley faces. A "security" cam kind of thing puts joker masks over people's faces. The whole preshow thing actually was scary enough to make some little kids cry and leave the line.

However, once you got on the coaster. It was a wild mouse style coaster with a few special effects as you went by. Literally, all it consisted of was a few curves around and a couple of small hills up and down. All that buildup for a lame ride. Good thing it wasn't crowded and I didn't wait all that long. Colin liked it however even though the first time he was scared of the theming and wanted to get out of line.

The Six Flags here in MA tried to build the exact same coaster here this year, the town gave them a hard time with the building permit, Six Flags decided to send the whole ride to another state! By the sounds of it, I guess I should be glad it fell through here!

Hi FF & Mom2Evie

We didn't give anyone an option, they were scrambled only! :thumbsup2

We served, scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, homefries, toast, fruit cocktail and baked beans (one senior staffer demanded them)!

Baked beans for breakfast? Do any of you think that's NORMAL? That is just too weird for words!

You know, I think it's disgusting! But my dad has to have baked beans every Saturday night, and he finishes up whatever was left over on Monday morning! I think it's must be popular with older people, the senior staffer that requested them is 66 years old! :confused3 And alot of people ate them too, well mostly the guys.....I think they planned on stinking each other out this afternoon! :scared1: ::yes::

Hi everyone.

That old guy just wanted to fart everyone out all day long. lol In England beans on bread are a staple so it might be something passed down that got lost with our generation or maybe the guy was from Europe. I still say he was ready to gas everyone.

One fun fact I learned from my DH who lived in Germany as a child: he laughes at Epcots Germany serving saurkraut because in Germany it would be an insult to be served saurkraut as it is a sign of being poor and only pigs should eat it not humans. Go figure.

My dad get's all messed up if he doesn't have his baked beans every Saturday night...ticks my mom right off! :rotfl2: But he's 79 years old, so we can't re-train him now!

My uncle is German, he never mentioned that.....but then again, I don't think I've ever seen him eat saurkraut either! :confused3

I will start out with what might be considered bad news, I flunked my heart test, badly. The tech told me that I needed to go immediately to my doctor's office. She only works half days so that was not possible. I spoke to them today and have an appointment for tomorrow morning.

The good news is this = I would hate to feel this badly and not have anything wrong with me. :rotfl:

My mom went through all these same things but I have staved it off longer than she and intend on keeping on doing so.

SG (busy day today, write more later and catch up)

Good Morning everyone!

Hey Nancy, I just got your voice message.....I didn't realize my cellphone's battery died until I went to use it last night!
