Hey, folks! I plan to be at the 'bar' myself so I can be the backup driver. I do not drink so I am safe and as long as you bring a bag to barf in (I have a new car) all will be well.

Two doctor's visits yesterday and a heart test scheduled for next week to make sure that I am healthy enough to survive this new operation that just might make my life perfect as well as improve Tom's. He complains that I am not getting my work done and I am grouchy and maybe if I feel better I can help him out. Out, SHOULD be the operative word. If done quickly enough it should not affect my vacation at all. Might not be able to eat much but I can deal with that one.

BTW, from what I remember of the 'bar' area it is just off the lobby and sometimes is a part of it when the piano player is working. It is very much family friendly in that way.

Gals, I am sorry. I had thought I had told you about the new operation they have for acid reflux. It is the major cause of all my woes and ills, if I ever actually had a heart attack I would not know because the symptoms are the same. I am weaker than tea in a red glass, tireder than Ron Jeremy(hey I read a lot so I know a lot of stuff) after an all day shooting session and fading fast.

Evidentially they now have a new procedure that is more effective and safer so I am having tests to see if it is possible for me.

I have hired someone to mow the lawn and babysit for me. My grandson says he will charge a nominal fee for the lawn care and the babysitting is free since I did not charge him either. Hey, HE does not have to change diapers, I hope.

My car holds five very comfortably so I have room for four more, after Ants, who gets to ride up front (so I can keep an eye on her). Shhh, don't be telling her I said that.

I am dreaming of a Disney vacation, pain free.

Pooh, have you got all your PM's all written out and raring to go?

Yup its horrible here! my sinuses are killing me Thank God for allergy meds

I have been doing a bit of research on the operation and it seems it is a bit more dangerous than I had thought so I have some thinking to do. Quality of life is more important than quantity and I sure do not have much quality at present.

Timmie, read what? Just remember that I am a teacher and we always put the troublemakers up front.

Figment, I have been sneezing and I do not even have allergies. Your weather report should have a pollen count section so you know if you should be sneezing or not.

Pooh, how many PM's did you sent out and at what time? Just curious, I have a bet, with myself. Let me know which of me wins.

My grandson has moved in for the summer, actually he does it a night at a time. He keeps trying to break his record of nearly two weeks at a stretch. We get along very well though. He has a list of 750 spelling words that he is studying (of his own volition) as he has asked to be in the Spelling Bowl next year. I had to fork over big bucks for his report card too. We shall not mention the grades of his older brother but will say we love him very much and are encouraging him to be a very, very hard worker and show up on time.

you are so funny Ms. Linda actually I think I used my PM late last night but I don't remember Oh well!! It is fun having the privilage(sp) back.

I had to leave yesterday afternoon to go pick up Lyllith at the Vet (she had her spay done) and well she had to stay overnight they thought it best that she did. She wasn't feeling well and she was bleeding a bit so we also felt it best to leave her to make sure nothing happen to her so we get to go pick her up today at lunch time and then tonight is Luca and Jilly's turn at the Vets for routine blood work (heartworm).

so what have you found out with the operation?? I have never heard of them doing anything like this before so give us some info. and maybe we can help you make a good decision

Update on Wic,

I just got a text message from her she and her DD Kellie are on a field trip (which I totally forgot about) and OH SHE GOT HER CAR back yesterday!!! she said that the window was broken and the ignition was popped but didn't say anything else.

Pooh, that is horrible about what happened to WIC. Someone else, my mind has gone south, had their car stolen too. I think we are going to see a whole bunch more of that sort of stuff. I am reading about folks having their gas taken from their cars, by draining the gas tank from under the car! That sounds plumb dangerous and dumb but thieves often are.

The operation is one whereby they wind a piece of your stomach around the upper area of your esophagus to strengthen the valve that does not allow stomach contents to back flush. Sounds like a benign problem but I have had it for over 20 years and it can lead to cancer and such. I am very tired and weak all the time now. No quality of life.

BTW, I read the link you sent. I might have missed something but it does seem like a misunderstanding. You are a very sensitive person, and that is what makes you so special. I wish everyone could make up as I would hate to see a rumble at the POP.

I like some people more than others and some folks like me more than others. Once I understood that it made life so much easier for me, and others. One of the benefits of being so very, very OLD!!

I haven't spoken to Wic yet but will tonight. It is bad out when you get your car stolen out in your own driveway.

No no misunderstandings in what is being said maybe I didn't send you the right one but if you read all the posts you will see and I am not the only one either it was brought to my attention by 2 other people first that this crap was starting all over again and it was even said to me that what is being said isn't what "they said" like a month ago either so take or leave it it all doesn't matter to me Everyone needs to just have the LOVE OF THE MOUSE HERE and no more CRAP!!!!

We have cases of folks having their car windows and such shot out while in their driveways. I would not own a house without a garage round here and it is a pretty peaceful place.


I hear you and agree. The love of the Mouse is what we all have in common and while we may not always agree with each other we should respect each others differences and sometimes delight in them.

But now I MAY have to go for an MRI which I'm not happy about it.

Also, today I had to take my camera to the shop because the lever for the zoom is broken - and I need it for my June trip. So it was a busy day!

Well Ladies, hopefully this weekend I'll start to really get ready for my trip, and GET ON THE PHONE for my ADRs!

I fell down the stairs in my home last month, and my foot has been bothering me ever since. Fortunantly, the tech didnt see any broken bones.
