I have rosasea and use a prescription called Finacea for it 2 times a day. I also have to wash my face 2 times a day before I put it on.

Now because of the 2 times a day washing, I have very dry skin!! So I need to find a good moisturizer that is gentile for my skin, and also doesn’t leave my skin greasy. Any suggestions??

Have you tried the Eucerin products? My derm recommends them.

I have rosacea too. Cetaphil is very gentle....their cleanser is gentle too.

For a moisturizer with sunscreen, I use Oil of Olay Total effects with SPF 15....I had read somewhere that it was gentle on rosacea, and it seems to be for me.

I use Cetaphil in the green tub. I have rosacea and dry skin. This stuff is kind of greasy, but I *tissue* the excess off after I apply it.

I like Borghese Creme Forte and Creme di Vita. I can't remember which is which, but if you only want to use one, pick the one with the SPF 15. The other is a moisture intensifier.

For 1 ounce in a dept store, it is $33. Go on ebay and you can get if for $13 shipped to your house.

It is wonderful, light and non-greasy.

Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream. I found this product for my son who had bad chapping due to teehting. I started using it myself on my dry, itchy patches and I swear its a miracle salve! It's in the baby care section of Walmart, Target, etc.

When I was taking Accutane several years ago (which dries out your skin and lips something fierce), my dermatologist recommended Aquaphor and it worked great.

I mostly used it on my chapped lips, but it worked well on skin also, although it may leave it a little "shiny".

We use it on our baby's dry face also.

I'm pretty sure you can find it on shelves now - when I first started using it, they kept it behind the pharmacist's desk for some reason and I had to ask for it (no prescription needed, that's just where they had it - maybe they weren't paying the stores for shelf space).

I have horribly dry skin. I use Oil of Olay Complete with SPF 15 Sensitive Skin. If it's a particularly bad day, I then use Clinique Moisture Surge Extra. This stuff is GREAT. It's so light. It's not greasy. Good stuff. I use it over the Oil of Olay and it's still light and doesn't cause breakouts.

You could try a vanicream moisturizer. My DS always gets a rash from sunscreen (only on his face) so I took a picture to his allergy Dr and she said these products work well for sensitve skin. The only catch is you have to order them online or get them through the pharmacy (not too bad price wise). So far the sunscreen has worked and I did get a sample of the lotion but we haven't tried it yet. Good luck.
