My son got a job where he has to wear dress clothes, but he's in and out all day. I was wondering if buying him some of those moisture wicking tshirts would help him stay cool when he's outside? Anybody have any experience with this? thanks.

My husband used to wear under armor but recently bought the white athletic ones from Old Navy. Much cheaper and quality maybe isn't as good but with a coupon and free shipping, I got a bunch for just under $6.00 each and can afford to replace as needed. He says they work as good as the under armor and look great under his dress shirts. He has casual Fridays at work so bought some black ones too to wear under his plaid casual shirts.

I, personally, think this is a bad idea. You're adding a layer of clothing in order to stay cool? No matter how cool it could make you, I think the extra layer is going to head you up more. Plus, the point of wearing an undershirt is to trap moisture so it doesn't soak through to your dress shirt. But if the undershirt carries moisture away, that's exactly where it's going to end up. This just seems counter-productive to me.

When working wearing slacks and dress shirts in the summer I had ordered off GALLs catalog a pack of Summer T's that were kind of fish net looking. They kept me cool and wick the sweat away.

These might help if he is wearing undershirts. http://www.target.com/p/hanes-men-s.../-/A-15343452#prodSlot=medium_1_5&term=x-temp
Lots of stores sell polo shirts made out of sweat wicking material for playing golf. http://www.target.com/p/c9-champion...15042242#prodSlot=medium_1_3&term=golf+shirts Along with much lighter material golf pants. http://www.target.com/p/c9-champion...-16698660#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=golf+pants Look around at golf and sporting good stores to see what else might be helpful.

My husband teaches a lot and says the lights can over heat him. Under his dress shirts he wears an Under Armor white shirt to help and loves it. He bought one that has a white logo so the logo doesn't show through his dress shirt.
