Hi..we are going to wdw in September and I am preparing for the heat. I want to wear the moisture wicking socks but,I am having some problems finding them.I do see socks with words like .dry fit. etc.. What brands would anyone recommend and where to find them.We shop at target, kohls ..dicks sporting goods etc..Would just like a tried and true brand to try. Thanks

The main idea is non-cotton socks, if not labelled specifically "wicking". I really like the Features brand, and purchase them at Dick's or specific running stores (I am not a runner, but they are great for Disney).

I have Nike Dri-fit socks. Even though, I'm not a Nike fan. I try to buy American made products.
They are wicking, cushioned, and comfortable with a thicker back tab at the heel. I've tried others and they have shrunk.

I bought a pack of Under Armour socks and I love them. There's even a UA store in Disney Springs if you need more. I use them for golf and even with the crazy heat the past few weeks, i've been fine.

Where did you buy them....no Nike stores close

I'm a big fan of No Nonsense socks called Ahh Said the Foot. They come in a variety of styles in both women's and men's sizes. I've often found them at my local supermarket.

I have been wearing Champion Duo Dry socks from Target since my trip in 2013. They are the only socks that don't make my feet sweat and they stay dry, so I never get blisters in Disney. I haven't bought any other kind since.

I like the champion c9 socks from Target with their duo dry technology. They have a ton of styles to choose from and are relatively cheap. They have socks that are thin, socks that have more padding, socks that are no show, socks that come up over the top of your shoes, socks that support your arch. I've run a lot of miles in their socks. I do like the Bagela a lot, but can't afford to own enough pairs for a Disney trip.

I purchased some Puma ones from TJ Maxx. A pack of 6 was $8.

Runner here and I swear by Balega socks. They are moire expensive and you will need to get them at a running store (Dick's may have them) or every now and then I'll find them at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. Pair them with some Foot Glide and you are good to go.

same here - used them for running and WDW. I've been lucky to find them on amazon, as well.

I've been using ThorLo and some SmartWool socks for years with very good results, after several miserable, blistery trips caused by very sweaty feet. They're available on Amazon and worth every penny.

I like the champion duo dry socks from Target as well. I've tried the more expensive socks like Balega and they're great, but the Target ones seem to work just as well. I've worn them doing a half marathon in the rain and no blisters.
