All i have to say is this.. Cl_'s rooms (not necessarily by staff) are more often visited by players because they feel that CL_s are closer to the VMK staff and therefore more "popular" thats just a fact, people want to hang out with other people who may be a higher authority than they are because they think that the owner is more "popular" because they were chosen by staff to have some kind of position in VMK status quo. Thats why CL_'s rooms are more popular, not because staff like them more..

I am not saying that staff like them more i am saying many Cl_'s have VMK staff as a friend. So when vmk staff click friends room they see that room. When vmk staff click friends list they see that room. Thats my idea..

I don't think "CL" players have more authority than anyone else, beyond the realms of trade transfering as they are certified witnesses. And I advise you all to not think of a "CL" better than you, it's what you do that makes who you are, not what you sign up for.

One time I went to fix a block up in one of my ride rooms, and when I got there, I witnessed a very well known (who no longer has the title) CL telling people that they are forcing him to report them and they will be banned. I appreciated the effort, and hated the bad advertising in my room by someone who's let two letters go completely to his head. It was odd no doubt.

I feel that this statement is absolutely ridiculous. As a CL, I have tried numerous times to get my rooms judged, but could never get on the popular list or a staff to come in. CL's do not get preferential treatment. Our goal is to help other players and thinking that we get pluses as result is a false theory.

I personally don't feel inferior to CL_s mostly because some of my best friends are CL_s, I'm just saying that some guests and new players who may not know that CL_s are just regular players may feel this

I used to build my rooms to win best guest room. I gave up long along. I doubt any staff know who I am an no staff since day one have seen my rooms. Which makes me sad. Especially my bear protection room. Doubt there are too many sanctuaries out there to protect the bears from being walked on. Here they are enjoying there wonderful sancturary. I think winning best guest room more than once in unfair but there is nothing I can do about it. So I just continue to build and who ever comes buy always enjoys my rooms. I am not a CL and I have won three times, twice as AlwaysPrinces and once under another character I used to play a lot.

Just having staff come into a room doesn't guarantee anything had staff come into what I thought was a way better room the week before and I didn't win and I am getting the feeling they are judging now without going into a room. If you notice on some of the pictures, the rooms are quite empty. It used to be you had to be on the popular list to be judged, now I just think they have to happen to see your room. Don't forget they are monitoring rooms randomly for VMK violations.

I know for my win this week Mocha came in for a VMK issue and that was when the picture was taken (I know by what I was wearing) they must have looked at the room again because my description had changed in the last few days along with with some room changes. I never saw them the second time.

I think the hard part is even getting a staff to come into your room...CL's may have an easier time of that.

CL's rooms are popular, and that is why staff come there. Because other players are enjoying the room, and finding the owner (a CL) kind and friendly. If not they would leave, am I right?

Of course, there are less (how should I say it..) regular player compared to the amount of CL's. So, we do have a bigger chance. Now if we work hard on our room, the chances rise. Good luck with your rooms it the future, but don't think CL's are anymore superior than the other players. They're just there to help staff manage players, and guide new players through the game.

I disagree, I just won best quest and I am not friends with staff especially those Cl's. I treat everyone the same in my room.

I agree that they favor CL's and the "better off" VMKers who have Inferno and all the rarest items, I've seen some VERY well decorated rooms and fun games but they have never even been looked at by staff. Just because a room doesn't have rare items doesn't mean it can't be the best decorated.

I mean, gosh I wasn't always a community leader and to be quite honest, I feel no different now than I did before. As a CL you are expected to know the ins and outs of vmk so others may ask questions about it and expect an answer. CL's are there so guests and other players may recognize that "yes, that player does know about vmk and I can trust an honest answer from him/her".

I have staff on my list...the last time I ever got best guest room was last year during the Pin Trading Room event lol.

I disagree with this very much. I am a CL and no one favors me over other players. I am glad of that too. To say CL's are favored is to not know, to be ignorant. I know of many other CL's who are not favored as well. There are only a couple of people who I know, who are favored...that does NOT mean CL's in general are.

As far as my thoughts on room awards, I really don't know what to think about them. I won 1 time for my mickey room and was visited twice there. I guess that was back when you had to be on the top section of rooms with red mickey ears. However like another poster stated, you are seeing more and more pics with 1 or 2 people in the room only. So I have no clue what to make of that.

Everyone in the game has a rank, it's just like a high school, you have the popular kids (who are mostly the people who are CL's and others who have lots of "rare" items), the nerds, the "goths", and the stuck up people.

If you mean I did, I am truly sorry. But I still respectively disagree with you. I know plently of players who "rank" higher in staff eyes than community leaders do. It has nothing to do with the letters in front of a name...it goes by how active people are in the game and how social one is. A lot of community leaders are well known not because they are leaders, but partly because leaders tend to play the game a lot and have been for a while. There are plenty of other players without the "CL" who are looked well in the eyes of staff because they show constant attendence in the game and care for other players. Community leaders may be trusted more than some, but are certainly not favored by staff members.

I am not saying that i did win it but on the list about 1/4 of it a CL_'s every week.... now if a 1/4 of the vmk population was CL_'s then i would under stand but there is not 1,000 CL_'s
